Things Are Never So Bad That They Can’t Get Worse

First, a brief look at the new Plaid Cymru administration. Then an analysis of ‘Well-being’. Before looking at the looming threat of AI data centers.

This piece is bigger than usual, some 2,700 words. But you know it’ll be worth it!

PLAID CYMRU IN POWER

Plaid Cymru emerged from the May 7 Senedd elections as the largest party, winning 43 out of the 96 seats contested. So we have a minority government that will almost certainly need support from Labour (which won 9 seats) to run things.

And even though the Guardian might view Plaid as “centre-left, I see a far-left party. Which might not be too bad, if it was an old-fashioned left wing party intent on improving the condition of the working class and governing in the interests of a majority of the population.

But the working class, normal people, level-headed people, are now the enemy for the Antifa Irregulars and the Hamas Support Brigade so influential in Plaid.

Let’s start by looking at the cabinet selected by new first minister Rhun ap Iorwerth.

OMG! Where’s the diversity?

Perhaps the only one in whom I might have confidence is Llŷr Gruffydd who, if nothing else, seems to understand rural issues. But then I curb my enthusiasm by remembering that before May 7 he was the SM for the largely rural North Wales region; whereas he now represents the smaller Clwyd constituency, dominated by the urban fleshpots of Rhyl, Prestatyn, and Colwyn Bay.

And then we must consider the description of his ministerial role: Cabinet Minister for Rural Resilience and Sustainability.

‘Sustainability’ for Plaid Cymru, Labour, Greens and the Globalist left generally means: net zero, Agenda 2030, wind turbines and solar panels everywhere; while promoting veganism and using various deceits to get farmers off the land for the benefit of corporate investors.

But what the hell is ‘Rural Resilience‘? Does anybody know?

Even just skimming over the rest of the bunch is really depressing.

For example, in newly-elected Mark Hooper, Deputy Minister for Transport, we have a man on record as saying that “private car travel is a massive problem“. His colleague, also new, Dr Dafydd Trystan Davies, Cabinet Minister for Government Effectiveness(?) and the Constitution, is equally if not more hostile to the freedom bestowed on us peasants by private transport.

For Davies is a sanctimonious planet saver; determined to punish those going to work, dropping the kids off at school, or running granny to her chiropodist appointment.

If these sinners paused for a moment in their attempts to make ends meet, or hold the family together, and instead gaze up to the moral high ground (just above the sunlit uplands), they’d see Dr Daf, wagging his finger admonishingly.

This saintly individual has for some time been a big wheel (spoked, and fully pumped) in the 20mph Sustrans outfit, now renamed Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.

And don’t get me started on Sioned Williams and some of the wimmin. If former Plaid leader Leanne Wood was Medusa they’d be the snakes. One of the new intake, Sarah Rees, admits to being “a campaigner at heart“, perhaps to explain why she’s never done a real job. Perfect for the Senedd!

Despite the widespread ‘optimism’, Plaid Cymru seems as much in thrall to pressure groups and ishoo pedlars as Labour. The useful idiots of Globalism, a form of capitalism so ruthless, so anti-human and authoritarian, that it would repulse the most heartless 19th century ironmaster or coal owner.

BEING TOLD TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT BEING POORER. AND THE ENDGAME

Now I’m going to focus on something I’ve mentioned in connection with other topics. It’s the vast superstructure built on the Well-being of Future Generations Act 2015.

Everything done in Wales since then must follow the stipulations of the Act. It’s used to influence everything. I’ve seen planning applications contain phrases like, ‘This development accords with Future Generations legislation’.

So let’s give Well-being itself more attention. With this section inspired by Nicola Lund, and this piece she wrote back in October 2023.

Nicola’s work is impressive, and extensively researched. So I won’t go over the ground she’s covered; but it’s worth noting her references to the usual suspects: Club of Rome, WEF, EU, WHO, and others.

The way I see it . . . national and individual wealth has traditionally been gauged by metrics such as GDP, disposable income, home ownership, number of private cars per head of population and other determinants.

But by following the Globalist agenda we in the West are becoming poorer by those traditional ways of assessing wealth. Consequently, something was needed to hide the reality and change the focus. This is where Well-being enters the frame.

Let’s go through the ‘Welsh Government’ graphic you see above.

Starting with, at the top, ‘A Prosperous Wales’. So vague as to be meaningless. And how does a country de-industrialising while simultaneously being trampled on by the new robber-barons of the ‘renewables’ racket and the digital age become prosperous?

‘A Resilient Wales’. That word again. But what does it mean? Taking all the crap forced on us without complaining?

‘A Healthier Wales’. Yeah – with the NHS on its knees.

‘A More Equal Wales’. Which means what, DEI and anti-white discrimination?

‘A Wales of Cohesive Communities’. Impossible when you destroy the economic foundations that made communities cohesive. And how does welcoming illegal immigrants to the Nation of Sanctuary aid community cohesion? This is delusional.

‘A Wales of Vibrant Culture and Thriving Welsh Language’. I suspect ‘vibrant’ here means diversity. Again. As for the language, no one who’s destroying farming, a bastion of the language and the economy in so many areas, should be taken seriously.

‘A Globally Responsible Wales’. Probably means student politics and virtue signalling. More bollocks. The sole responsibility of any ‘Welsh Government is Wales.

Forget about the kids going hungry, Mrs Evans – improve your well-being by thinking about the non-binary lynx we’ve released in the area. Look, there’s one now, making off with little Carys’s rabbit!”.

Once you accept the fundamental lie of the ‘climate crisis’, and agree to the sacrifices demanded, then you’ll accept the resultant decline. But it’ll be you making the sacrifices, not those asking you to make them.

And because the threat is global it must be tackled globally. Which inevitably means trans-national bodies taking control. The next step will be a kind of world government. But you’ll have no say in electing this world government. For elections will be things of the past.

We’re already on our way to an unelected world government with what masquerades as electoral politics in the West today. At a stage where it matters little who you vote for; as most politicians – the Uniparty – sing from the Globalist hymn sheet.

Another feature of such systems is the ‘Chosen One’. Often a graduate of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders programme.

Back in 2024, in Canada, when it became clear that Justin Trudeau had been rumbled by the electorate, Mark Carney, former Governor of the Bank of England and arch Globalist, appeared from nowhere. Carney wasn’t even a sitting MP, but it had been decided, somewhere, by someone, that he would be the next prime minister of Canada.

First, he was made leader of the ruling Liberal Party, then a seat was found for him and he was elected for Nepean, Ontario, in the general election of April 2025.

Over here, Starmer’s a dead man walking. And so a suitable replacement had to be found. The one chosen is mayor of Manchester Andy Burnham. But like Carney, he’s not even an MP. So a Labour MP has stood down and now there’s a by-election in Makerfield on June 18.

If Burnham is elected he’ll become party leader and therefore prime minister. He might be worse than Starmer, but he’ll be a fresh face to fool the plebs for a bit longer.

What I’m describing is not old-fashioned party intrigue, or political jockeying. Because Carney and Burnham were not chosen by their respective parties. (Let alone the members of those parties.) They were chosen by people you’re not supposed to know about; and the role and power of these oligarchs will never be discussed in the media they control and want you to rely on.

To implement their agenda of wealth and asset transfer, Digital ID, Central Bank Digital Currency, and Universal Basic Income, you must be brainwashed into believing that not only are the sacrifices you’re making unavoidable, but also that you should feel good about making them.

Which is all you need to know about the Well-being scam.

AI DATA CENTERS

This part puts me in debt to David Powell. Specifically, this piece he put out last November. Scroll down to the part dealing with AI data centers planned for Wales. Mainly in the south, which is a designated AI Growth Zone.

Here’s a section:

One facility matches a city of 50,000’s water consumption, straining drought-hit valleys and jacking up Dŵr Cymru rates for everyone else.

What’s clear, and what no one denies, is that data centres consume vast amounts of water and electricity. So let’s consider water first. For as David Powell tells us, “One facility matches a city of 50,000’s water consumption“?

Though Google AI suggests the demand will be even higher:

A typical large data centre consumes between 11 million and 19 million litres of water per day—roughly equivalent to the daily usage of a town of 30,000 to 50,000 people. Facilities dedicated to Artificial Intelligence (AI) demand even higher volumes.

Do we have that much water to spare? The answer is obviously no, so it’ll be existing consumers, in the urban south, that’ll find themselves going without. And paying Dŵr Cymru more for less.

In Ireland, there’s even talk of transferring water from the River Shannon, in the west, to the AI data centers in Dublin, on the east coast. Here’s a follow-up article from Gript. (Paywall, I’m afraid.)

But what’s the purpose of these date centers? Listen to Sam Altman, founder of OpenAI, speaking at the BlackRock US Infrastructure Summit.

But we see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter.

Clearly, AI data centers will need vast amounts of water that the current system will struggle to supply. But electricity will perhaps be even more of an issue.

Parts of England ran dry last week

Those who support ‘renewables’ argue wind and solar will make a huge contribution to supplying AI data centers. That’s wishful thinking; an intermittent supply from wind farms and solar installations, even with their unreliability mitigated by Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), isn’t going to cut it.

UPDATE: It’s estimated that AI data centers use 22% of Ireland’s electricity.

Though there are many BESS planned for southern Wales. One by RWE at Pembroke, alongside the power station. Another on the site of the old Uskmouth power station in Newport. A second Newport site is at Quinn Radiators. One is in Cardiff. Finally, one at the old Ford engine plant in Bridgend.

There are many other projects, including those planned by ‘Welsh’ Labour’s favourite company, Bute Energy. Additional to the BESS installations incorporated into the various ‘Energy Parks’ (windfarms & solar soil destroyers) Bute’s formed BESS companies that specifically name; Cilfynydd, Rhigos, Carmarthen.

But BESS are springing up everywhere. One I’m just hearing about is Castell Llwyd, just west of Ystrad Mynach. The company behind it, Qair, is French owned.

No doubt there are others in the pipeline. For as Google AI tells us:

Wales is rapidly developing into a major UK hub for AI and cloud computing, driven by billions in inward investment, massive hyperscale data center construction, and official AI Growth Zone designations by the UK and Welsh governments

Yes, of course there’s a National Grid. But AI data centers are springing up in England, too, increasing the demand on a system that, like the water supply, will struggle to cope. And will struggle even worse the more it relies on ‘renewables’, the price of which is set to double by 2030.

Then there’s the impact on health. Data centers emit a continuous noise. Here’s David Powell again:

Vantage’s Cardiff operations clock 46-48 decibels at the doors – officially “minor adverse” per standards, but stack multiple facilities in clusters and it becomes a symphony of sleepless nights and shattered quality of life.

Google AI suggests it’s even worse:

AI data centers are notoriously loud. Driven by the need to cool thousands of dense servers, they produce constant, 24/7 noise pollution that can reach 55 to 85 decibels—and sometimes up to 100dB right next to the facility.

A problem exacerbated by the back-up generators:

On-site diesel generators or natural gas turbines used during power grid shortages sound like low-flying planes

All this can affect property values close to the centers.

But do AI data centers have a purpose over and above that outlined by Sam Altman?

Fundamentally, AI data centers are being built so someone, somewhere, can collect as much information as possible on as many people as possible: So as to know what they do. And what they buy. Their reading and viewing preferences. What they think. And what they say.

Information is power.

And this power, in a world where oligarchs are trying to take control through making a sham of democratic politics, will not only know your views and your preferences; for when combined with Digital ID, CBDC, and UBI it will be able to control you.

You’ll find that expressing certain views not only loses you your internet connection, it will also mean you’re unable to access your money. (Cash will already be outlawed.)

You’ll become a non-person except to those you can interact with on a physical level. But you’ll find that few will want to be seen talking to you due to the ubiquitous cameras.

CONCLUSION

‘Well-being’ is obviously a deceit. A form of manipulation that expects people to put up with less or worse for a noble objective that, when analysed, itself turns out to be a lie.

Now let’s have a few final thoughts on AI data centers. Because powerful voices are coming out against them, and even those behind them are getting nervous.

First, the Pope has spoken out. In fact, His Holiness issued an encyclical. And Pope Leo didn’t mince words.

Some of the Pope’s strongest imagery in the document related to slavery, warning parallels between the historical tragedy of traditional slavery and the emerging threats of “new digital slaveries”.

It should be noted that Leo XIV is the first Pope from the USA. I mention that because another American is worth quoting in this context – Larry Fink, BlackRock CEO and Interim Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum.

As you might guess, Larry and his multitudinous investment arms have put a whole lot of money into AI data centers. But Larry fears the peasants will rise up, and attack the data centres with cheap drones! (An update to pitchforks and blazing torches?)

Here’s Neil Oliver’s take on it. It’s worth watching.

Neil also reminds us that the power and reach of “Caesar” Fink’s empire is built on the savings and pensions of millions of little people. Which means that Joe Schmuck in Ohio and Dai Williams in Ponty pay for their own “digital slavery“.

Will the new Plaid Cymru administration stand up for Wales, and humanity, and against the proliferation of AI data centres and the misery they’ll inflict?

And what about the inconsistency – many might say hypocrisy – of allowing AI data centers to drain the electricity grid and monopolise water supplies while constantly hectoring us mere mortals into consuming less of everything?

Thankfully, more and more people see the nature of Globalism, and the threat it poses. While Wokism is increasingly rejected as a load of dangerous tosh. Now the UN has pulled back on its more hysterical climate claims. While NASA shows CO2 greening large areas of the planet, thereby making attempts to reduce or ‘capture’ it insane.

Wales can’t continue in a cartoon world created by brainwashed or unhinged useful idiots where cows are a threat to the planet and Welsh cakes must be decolonised.

Wales has more than enough real problems. Plaid Cymru must tackle them.

Buy Me A Coffee

Who Ya Gonna Vote For?

Well, we’re almost there. Thank God! Because this has been the most uninspiring and negative election in the history of devolution.

Never have so many deadbeats, activists posing as ‘journalists’, party hacks, and nut-jobs, wasted their time trying to rouse a people who’ve just lost interest.

RUNNERS AND RIDERS IN HEAVY GOING

This election was doomed to be uninspiring and confusing once Labour rigged the voting system. (Almost certainly with the connivance of Plaid Cymru.) It’s a party list system that no one understands, contested in 16 vast and insane constituencies.

An affront to democracy.

I detailed the various stages of the process just over two years ago in Senedd Cymru (Electoral Candidate Lists) Bill, explaining how better and fairer voting systems were rejected in order to arrive at today’s abomination.

For one thing, it’s designed to make life as difficult as possible for smaller parties and independent candidates. Jac Larner of Cardiff University calculates the system imposes a threshold of 14% before a party can hope to win a seat.

Given the quality of the debate, and the paucity of credible candidates, the election has been uninspiring. But this is to be expected. If a Senedd of just 60 Members attracts only people who’d struggle to run a stall at a village fete, what hope is there of improving the quality when the numbers are increased by over 50%?

And this couples with the negativity I also referred to in the intro. The Globalist Uniparty, the self-styled ‘progressives’, Labour, Plaid Cymru, Greens, Lib Dems, have had little to say beyond – Stop Reform!

There has been nothing positive on offer. Certainly no inspiring vision for the future. But this is only to be expected. Because with the exception of the Greens these are the parties that have failed Wales for 27 years of devolution.

Adding the Greens to the mix – and a potential coalition with Plaid – only offers something worse. While the other components of the Uniparty promise more of the same, the Greens want to double down on the mistakes of the past 27 years, and force on us new ones.

It’s also been a very ‘British’ campaign in that Welsh issues have been crowded out. For the London media has tended to lump the Senedd elections in with the Scottish Parliament and English local authority elections.

Their focus has been London-centric in debating whether Starmer will survive bad results “across the UK“. Treating May 7 almost as a general election, or a vote of confidence in the Labour party in Westminster.

And yet, this neglect of Welsh issues serves the interests of some parties. Plaid Cymru, for example, can blame Labour for the mess Wales is in, while claiming a vote for them is also a vote against the most unpopular PM ever.

Ironically, this is Labour’s old election tactic of urging punters to, “Send a message to London“. Which is what many will be doing, but now it’s working against Labour.

Reform can neglect Wales to focus on the issues that figure with the mainstream media and social media; small boat migrants, net zero, anti-Semitism, high taxes, benefit payments, knife crime, etc. Giving out mixed messages about their attitude towards devolution doesn’t do them any harm either.

The Greens have the advantage of being an unknown quantity, something different. But the Greens are universally and correctly described as ‘the Watermelon Party’. Green on the outside, red on the inside. And now attracting Islamist support.

Plaid Cymru has also been dipping its toe in that toxic oasis pool for some years. Though I’m not sure Mrs Evans in Pencader will take kindly to being told she has to wear a hijab to Capel Sion or else be branded Islamophobic.

As for the Lib Dems, does anybody know what they offer? In Wales it’s that strange Jane Dodds, with the party led at UK level by Ed Davey, who backed the Post Office in persecuting postmasters when UK Postal Affairs Minister from 2010 to 2012.

In short, and Reform excepted, various forms of that curious beast, 21st century Western left-liberalism divorced from any concerns for the once-idolised working class.

Offering socialism that can only run an economy for as long as other people’s money lasts or – as we’re now learning from Minnesota and elsewhere in the USA – if it can tap in to official funding which taxpayers thought was being properly used.

Few issues lay bare the deceit and duplicity more clearly than race. Here are a couple more things I picked up over the past week on X.

On the left we have Plaid Cymru dreaming of a multicultural Wales in which it seems white people are a minority. On the right, someone claiming that “Cymru belongs to us, not Reform“.

Now I don’t know Siân Parry, so I can’t say for sure that she’s a Plaid supporter, but she’s certainly on the political left. But what is she trying to say? Come to that, what is Plaid Cymru trying to say? Let’s attempt a synthesis.

An illegal immigrant can be Welsh; but someone who is Welsh to their core, speaks the language fluently, ceases to be Welsh – if they support Reform?

How insane, and offensive, that is. And all in the service of some transitory Woke nonsense. But too many put socialist dogma and childish obsessions above the interests of Wales.

To continue down this path Plaid risks becoming a full-blown anti-Welsh party.

For that’s the course it seems to have charted, with a Gwynedd councillor suspended for not appreciating that the false god of inclusivity is more important than the Welsh language and the community he was elected to represent.

So sod the Uniparty. And with Reform increasingly looking like controlled opposition, I’d avoid them too.

STUDENT POLITICS AND DYING BIRDS

Twenty-seven years of virtue-signalling, ineptitude, and failure have taken their inevitable toll.

It’s an uphill task for those who’ve run devolution for 27 years to persuade people to forget about bills and hospital appointments, and instead take pride in Wales being the first country to declare a climate emergency, the first to have a Future Generations Commissioner, and to remember that Wales is working to be Anti-racist by 2030.

It’s student politics. And it’s explained very well by a young man named Owain Williams, whose one-minute video I stumbled upon last week.

When I saw “Confederacy” my heart soared!

Now student politics is all very well in its place, but the real world is not that place.

Digression alert!

There’s a little quote from Thomas Paine’s Rights of Man that was popular with the left in my younger days. Paine was responding to Edmund Burke’s Reflections on the Revolution in France, in which Burke floridly defended the Ancien Régime. (But still a great read!)

Paine condemned Burke for being more concerned with the pomp of Versailles than with the wretchedness of most French people. It was a radical responding to a conservative, telling him to ignore the ephemeral and focus on the realities.

Paine wrote: “We pity the plumage, but forget the dying bird“.

We can turn this on its head in 21st century Wales; for here it’s the radicals, the progressives, who obsess over the plumage, the ephemeral. But who ignore the dying bird, Wales.

And things won’t get better if we let Plaid Cymru take over. For Plaid, either alone or in alliance with their new wobble-headed pals in the Greens, will only push us harder and faster down Disaster Road.

But on the plus side . . . breast enlargement will be available on the NHS from fully-trained tit whisperers, all accredited by the Zack Polanski School of Woo-Woo.

Let’s be honest, devolution has been a disaster for Wales, and so replacing one bunch of bullshitters with another won’t make a bit of difference. And people know it. This piece from last week’s Western Mail says it all.

A majority of voters in Wales are either indifferent to devolution or opposed to it . . . only 27 per cent of those asked said they supported devolution“. A majority of those polled couldn’t name the first minister.

But what do you expect after 27 years of failure that has alienated people from the whole idea of devolution, and they see no hope of improvement?

IS DEVOLUTION EVEN DEMOCRATIC?

A fundamental problem of devolution, and the main reason for being subjected to policies for which there is little public support is the hangers-on, the influencers, the pressure groups, the lobbyists, that attach themselves to the politicians, to by-pass and subvert the democratic process.

You vote for a party that promised this that and t’other but you end up suffering legislation that was never in the manifesto and on which you were never consulted.

That’s because most of the Uniparty members in the Senedd went into politics to promote their pet ishoos rather than represent the constituency for which they were elected. Many came from charities, pressure groups, and lobbying organisations.

The aptly-named ‘Swamp’.

Take Lee Waters. Ostensibly the Labour Senedd Member for Llanelli (though he actually lives in Penarth). Waters had worked for cycling charity Sustrans (renamed Walk Wheel Cycle Trust), and was instrumental in bringing in the 20mph legislation.

There was a petition opposing 20mph that raised almost 470,000 signatures – but the self-styled ‘Welsh Government’ ignored it.

While other petitions, with little support, result in legislation – because the issue promoted lines up with the Uniparty agenda. You even get your photo took with some gurning politico in a presentation ceremony!

On the left in the image below is Mike Hedges, Labour SM for Swansea East; on the right, Natalie Buttriss, who’s represented a number of bodies trying to grab Welsh land under various ‘save the planet’/’biodiversity’ guises.

Red carpet treatment – and a chance to meet Mike Hedges! – for just 2,385 signatures!

That’s democracy, folks; the Voice of the People . . . being ignored.

Saying loud and clear that devolution is a sham. But we’re expected to believe it’s going to get better because – just like socialism – it hasn’t been properly tried yet.

Worse, there are those believing Wales could survive as an independent country with the same calibre of politicians pursuing the same policies.

This goes beyond the definition of insanity attributed to Einstein.

At present, all the lunacies we endure from Corruption Bay are funded by the block grant from Westminster. Take that away with independence, and give full powers to politicians who understand nothing about economics, but who will be determined to pursue the same Globalist-Woke agenda, and Wales will go broke within 5 years.

Then it’s into the clutches of the EU and the World Bank; allowing land and other assets to be bought up by BlackRock and the like to give the impression of economic activity, or inward investment.

Socialism has never worked as an economic model. Which explains why the only ones pushing it are either still wet behind the ears or have jobs for life on the public payroll.

CONCLUSION

Plaid Cymru believes that a few years of the party running the Senedd will win people over to the idea of independence. Thinking of Scotland. They’re wrong.

After the SNP took control in 2008 (as a minority government) it increased its popularity under the leadership of Alex Salmond. To the point where it almost won the 2014 referendum on independence.

But Salmond, in addition to being a very astute politician and a great debater, was an economist. You know, the real world economy. He persuaded many Scots, and many economists, that Scotland could be better off as an independent country.

And it almost worked. I was in Scotland for the referendum, and I know that the polls just before the vote were showing a majority for Yes. The London parties panicked and came out with ‘The Vow’, promising Scotland just about everything short of independence.

That swung it and the vote was 55 – 45 against independence.

Worth noting that the Labour leader at the time was Ed Miliband. Who – like Cameron and Clegg – understood that a great part of the appeal of independence was the promise of oil and gas revenues staying in Scotland. So maybe him closing down North Sea oil and gas fields isn’t just about saving the planet.

Whatever, and to get back to Wales, Plaid Cymru knows nothing about economics; I think the last genuine economist in their ranks was Dr Phil Williams, a good old stick despite everything, but he died in 2003.

Wales has no oil and gas fields to speak of. And there’s been no attempt to develop an indigenous economy over the 27 years of devolution. Funding cronies and charities to run make-believe ‘businesses’, and allowing carpetbagger companies to exploit Wales, is a third world economy.

All Plaid Cymru offers is more of the same, with a different spin. Because while Rhun ap Iorwerth may come across as an affable sort of guy, behind the scenes, still running the show, are dark forces from Plaid’s recent past.

And if Plaid gets power, especially in a link-up of some description with the Greens, then even nastier specimens will start popping up.

Wales needs radical change, in the form of a return to the eternal verities and facing up to economic realities. The Uniparty will never be allowed to provide this. Reform gives no thought to Wales beyond getting votes to pursue a different agenda.

Here’s Owain Williams again. I don’t know his politics, but I suspect they’re not a million miles from my own.

UPDATE 04.05.2026: Well, bless me! Young Owain is the son of Rhodri ‘Billions’ Williams, former boss of S4C and various other bodies. Owain is, or was, a Labour stalwart. The doubt might be justified by the party excluding him from being selected.

The only sensible option is a party that puts Wales first and foremost. One that prioritises the economy we all need. That understands Wales needs real jobs not more gesture politics. That teaches our children to think for themselves rather than brainwashing them. That won’t wage war on the family farm. Or the family unit.

The only party that fits the bill is Gwlad. Of course, Gwlad can’t win this time round, they don’t have the strength yet. But they’ll grow and, with fair media coverage, be back stronger next time. In the meantime, I’m sure Gwlad will be fighting for Wales in council elections and other ways.

The only Welsh party willing to address people’s real world concerns is Gwlad.

Buy Me A Coffee

Caveat Emptor!

Over the past year I’ve written a few times about companies in Wales profiting from the UK government’s ECO4 scheme, through cavity wall insulation, solar panels, heat pumps, etc.

Most recently, I’ve had to write about one of these companies going belly-up leaving dissatisfied customers; either suffering from poor workmanship that needed remedial work, or else jobs left unfinished.

A BIT OF BACKGROUND, AND THE FIRST UPDATE

The first piece I put out was Saving The Planet – The Globalist Way! in July last year. This was followed by ‘Corruption Bay’ Living Up To Its Name? in December. Then, following the collapse of Consumer Energy Solutions, the next piece, in early January, was Grab The Money And Run!. Finally, towards the end of January, it was Cairngorm Capital – The Kiss Of Death.

Consumer Energy Solutions was part of a group of Welsh companies ultimately owned by Cairngorm Capital of Edinburgh through Dragon 2023 Topco Ltd. (Or, more likely, someone else owned them but operated through Cairngorm.)

But now there’s a new kid on the block in the form of New Dragon Holdco Ltd. The three directors of this new company, formed January 22, can be seen below. They all work for Oaktree Capital Management.

I used to see photos like those hanging up in cinema foyers when I was a kid, there from the days of silent movies. Where’s Rudolph Valentino?

Oaktree’s based in Luxembourg for its European operations, but can be ultimately traced to an address in Los Angeles. Though registered in the state of Delaware, which serves as a kind of internal tax haven in the USA. But it’s not straightforward, as the group accounts filed with Companies House for Oaktree Capital UK Ltd make clear.

Oaktree is another of those companies that makes nothing, grows nothing, and performs no service for the benefit of mankind. Just another gang of sharp-suited spivs shuffling around other people’s money to make themselves rich.

The parasite capitalism that bedevils and seeks to control the modern world.

FURTHER UPDATE

In those earlier posts, another company that came into the frame was Quidos. Or rather, a number of companies operating under that name. Quidos seemed to provide training and accreditation for the ECO4 ‘retrofit’ companies listed in the panel above.

Originally based in Bath the Quidos companies trace back to the group through the involvement of Nick Pritchard of Bangor. Here’s a list of Pritchard’s many companies. Though now it needs updating, because a new name has appeared on the Companies House register as a minority controlling interest in Quidos Pure Ltd.

That name is Philip John Stanley. So what can I tell you about Mr Stanley? Let’s start with his Linkedin page. (Not sure about that waistcoat.)

To begin with, and to judge by the addresses of his previous companies, he lives in Liverpool. In fact, I compiled a list of companies with which he’s been involved. Here it is in pdf format.

The companies he’s formed since 2013 have a number of things in common. Most noticeably, that none of them ever turns a profit. They either fold without filing accounts or they return losses. How does the poor man survive?

And then there’s the strange matter of two companies with the same name, Love to Feel. Now I’m fairly sure that’s not allowed by Companies House. But Stanley got around it by naming one Love to Feel Ltd and the other Love to Feel Limited.

But why would anyone do that? It’s guaranteed to cause confusion.

The ‘Ltd’ company is based in Liverpool, and files as dormant. The ‘Limited’ company – Dissolved in May 2024 – gave its address as Bryn Derwen, Parc Menai, Bangor.

But the reason Philip John Stanley is appearing here is because of what seems to be a real departure for him, both in the line of business, and in locations.

CONSUMER RIGHTS

If you go to the table I linked to above, you’ll see two Community Interest Companies (CIC). Now a CIC is not supposed to make a profit and, as the name suggests, it should serve the public interest.

One advantage of a CIC is that it’s easier to set one up with Companies House than it is to register a charity with the Charity Commission. Fewer questions are asked.

Consumer Rights Ltd was launched in November 2021, in Liverpool. It converted to a CIC January 12 2023, and the following day moved to Bryn Derwen, Parc Menai, Bangor.

Though Bryn Derwen appears to be holiday accommodation. Consumer Rights CIC seems to bounce between this address and the Business Centre, Llys y Bont.

There is a Consumer Rights website. (Here in pdf format.) At first sight I though it was an official government site. It has that ‘look’ to it, even similar colours to the Ofgem website.

Might this confuse people, like the two Love to Feel companies?

Less than a week after Consumer Rights CIC moved to Bangor Stanley launched Consumer Rights (Scotland) CIC. Giving an address in Leith, Edinburgh.

Does it link with Consumer Energy Solutions and the other companies in the group being – for public consumption – owned by Cairngorm Capital of Edinburgh?

A director in both Consumer Rights companies was James Joseph Rimmer. Here’s his Linkedin page. He spent over 17 years with Experian, one of the ‘big three’ credit bureaux. Major stakeholders in Experian are BlackRock and Vanguard.

Clearly, Rimmer would know how to use databases.

And Quidos Pure moved its address last month from Bath to Bodlondeb, Conwy, the old council offices now leased by Pritchard.

REMEMBER NEV?

Another name we encountered in the table of Stanley companies I linked to, was Neville Wilshire. Which may sound familiar; if so, it’s because he was the star of the television series The Call Centre. He died in December 2021.

Which might answer the question: What’s the relationship between Consumer Rights CIC and the companies shown in the panel at the top? Including Consumer Energy Solutions, with its dissatisfied customers and unpaid former employees?

There clearly is a connection, for Stanley is a person with significant control of Quidos Pure Ltd. Majority control of Quidos Pure rests with Quidos Holdings Ltd, controlled by Pritchard. And Pritchard links with the other companies.

Also worth remembering that CES was based in Swansea. Like Nev’s call centre.

The company that links Neville Wilshire with Philip John Stanley is EAGA Card Ltd. It was originally based at these salubrious offices in downtown Chepstow, with accountants Macario Lewin. Which also has a presence in Swansea.

After moving its address to Llanelli EAGA Card Ltd was Dissolved in December 2022, after Neville Wilshire’s death. So I got to wondering about the EAGA or Eaga name.

There was a company of that name in Newcastle “supplying energy efficiency products“, bought up in 2011 by Carillion, and the name then disappeared, according to Wikipedia. There was also an EAGA Charitable Trust, which ceased in 2020/21.

But it seems the name was revived by someone in the same line of business as the Geordie original. And by January 2021 people were being cold called.

That may have been Neville Wilshire’s company. Or perhaps it was Philip John Stanley. For by then Stanley could have learnt how to use databases from Rimmer, and call centre know-how from Wilshire.

THOUGHTS

Consumer Energy Solutions Ltd (CES) has departed this mortal coil, and last month the Administrator issued a Statement of Affairs. Assets available for “preferential creditors” amounted to £307,915. Yet the claims from employees alone amounted to £586,185.

Certainly, there are some creditors that’ll hardly notice the loss, such as American Express, owed £689,536. Or HMRC, owed £1,188,925. But many creditors are small local suppliers.

The total deficit was £112,671,723. With almost all that owed to ‘Alter Domus Trustees (UK) Ltd (Oak Tree)’. Presumably referring to Oaktree Capital Management, mentioned above.

This, I believe, is a debt spread across the group. Where the picture is no rosier. For all the shares in CES are held by Diversity Network Holdings Ltd, of Cardiff Business Park, Llanishen, where a Receiver was appointed February 11.

As you can see, the trading name appears to be Heatforce, or Heatforce (Wales) Ltd, which is still in business. Certainly, that’s how it appears. But the most recent accounts, up to year ending January 31, 2025 (showing a loss), acknowledged “difficulties“, restructuring, and the involvement of Oaktree.

But of course, these accounts were filed with Companies House before Consumer Energy Solutions went bust.

You’ll notice other companies mentioned in the restructuring. City Energy Network Ltd is still with us, as is City Energy Facilities Management Ltd, and so is Laver Group Ltd.

Of the other companies in the group panel at the top, accounts are now overdue with Companies House for those that haven’t officially gone into liquidation or receivership.

UPDATE 25.03.2026: First Gazette notice for compulsory strike-off has been issued against City Training Group Ltd, Simply Electric Metering Ltd, and Advance Energy Services Ltd.

CAIRNGORM CAPITAL, A PERSONAL CONTRIBUTION

As you’ve read, Cairngorm Capital of Edinburgh is central to the collapse of CES and other companies in the group.

I earlier made a reference to “parasite capitalism” to describe Cairngorm, but maybe a better description would be ‘slash and burn’.

We invest in profitable companies that have the potential for transformative growth.

That’s Cairngorm’s business model; and yes, bankruptcy is certainly “transformative“.

In January I put out, ‘Cairngorm Capital – The Kiss of Death‘. In that piece I looked at other companies, outside of Wales, that got involved with Cairngorm. And found a very similar story with them.

One was Sentry Doors, near Doncaster. And I recently received a message from a former Sentry Doors employee. You can read it here.

That is a very unhappy ex-worker.

And yet it gives a personal insight into the Cairngorm business model we’ve seen in Wales – take over, put in (or buy) accomplices, treat the workers (and customers) like shit, run the company into the ground, grab what you can, do a runner.

The reference made to ‘ESW Knowles’ is to a linked company in Birmingham, that last June changed its name to Sentry Fire Safety Group Birmingham Ltd.

The directors there work for Cairngorm, and this company is covered by the same charge with Oaktree Bank PLC as covers Sentry Doors.

CONCLUSION

A big part of the problem is that when governments have shovel-loads of cash to throw away on schemes like ECO4, with poor regulation and oversight (if any at all), then such schemes will draw people who, to put it kindly, will be less than honest.

And this will involve both local companies and foreign investors. With the former being used by the latter to grab the loot.

Here’s perhaps a personal example of what I’m talking about. Just last week the leaflet below came through my letter-box.

I phoned the number given, on Sunday, and again yesterday. Both times I got an American voice telling me the number was disconnected. What’s the point of distributing a leaflet with a non-working number?

The QR code links to the website. Which suggests a company called ‘FTCH Wales’. Using the same, unobtainable phone number. The Companies House registration gives the address of a Colwyn Bay solicitor.

(As for the ‘accreditations’ on the bottom – ignore them. Yer pays yer money and yer gets yer little badge, no questions asked. Or you just copy and paste.)

Googling the phone number brought up a link to FTCH Group, in Liverpool, possibly above an Italian eatery. (FTCH stands for First Time Central Heating.) The website provides the following message:

Yeah, I know the feeling.

In view of what happened to Consumer Energy Solutions (Reminder), and given the web of linked companies, some collapsed, the shady foreign investors, the missing money, the cold calling, there should be an official investigation.

But there won’t be.

Because the ‘Welsh Government’ is utterly useless. When it comes to money, business, or running an economy, those virtue-signalling clowns in Corruption Bay have been out of their depth since devolution started on May 6 1999.

They were always easy prey for sharks and shysters. But let’s look ahead.

After the Senedd elections on May 7 Labour will be out of power. Plaid Cymru looks likely to emerge with most seats, but not enough for a majority, so that’ll mean a coalition or some kind of agreement.

Things can only get worse.

A hell of a lot worse.

Buy Me A Coffee

Cairngorm Capital – The Kiss Of Death

This is a follow-up to my previous piece on the collapse of Consumer Energy Solutions Ltd (CES), owned by Cairngorm Capital. I suspect CES will be followed by linked companies that have also been taking advantage of the UK government’s ECO4 scheme, due to end in March.

Even before the scheme ends MPs are calling for an investigation into the shambles into which it degenerated. Demanding the Serious Fraud Office be involved.

Cairngorm is a private equity firm using leveraged buyouts. In other words, borrowing money to buy companies, loading the debt onto those companies, bumping up their value, then getting out as quickly as possible with as much loot as they can.

A business practice many regard as unethical, even a form of asset stripping.

QUICK RECAP

Here’s the group of companies we’ve looked at in earlier posts.

Cairngorm’s arrival was soon followed by loans or Security Accession Deeds with Alter Domus Trustees (UK) Ltd. Which is in turn owned by Alter Domus DCM (UK) Ltd.

A Security Accession Deed is a legal document used to add new parties—such as borrowers, guarantors, or lenders—to an existing security trust deed or loan agreement.

Following the ownership trail brings us – according to latest accounts filed with Companies House – to the Eighth Cinven Fund. Cinven is another private equity firm.

This fund raised $14.5bn. Here’s the Cinven website. Most of the money came from pension funds and sovereign wealth funds. For example, $280m from New York State Common Retirement Fund. A further $167m from California State Teachers’ Retirement System.

It all links up when we see that Alter Domus is listed as one of Cinven’s ‘portfolio companies’. Cinven has offices across Europe, but prefers to be based in, and subject to the easy-going regulations of, Luxembourg and Guernsey.

BlackRock may even be involved.

Alter Domus, the leading global provider of tech-enabled fund services for the private equity, real assets and private debt sectors today appointed Mark Wiseman as Chairman. Mr. Wiseman is the former Head of Active Equities and Chairman of BlackRock’s Alternatives Business, as well as President & CEO of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.

All that said, the latest accounts filed with Companies House by Alter Domus DCM (UK) Ltd tell us what you see below:

Cortland is based in Chicago. Which might explain Alter Domus US LLC. Also involved, and mentioned in this 2017 article, is Permira Funds. This latter entity is ultimately owned by Permira Holdings Ltd of Guernsey.

That’s enough links!

So . . . these Welsh companies pocket lots of money from the ECO4 scheme, get involved with Cairngorm Capital, and more money is pumped in from God knows where.

Which could mean that the pension fund to which Minnie Schwarz, retired teacher of Indian Falls, New York State, belongs, may have been used to do Mrs Jones’s cavity wall insulation in Llansamlet.

Cos it’s a small world.

A LITANY OF ENGINEERED FAILURE

The first link in the chain after our local boys is obviously Cairngorm. And given that these Welsh companies are either already up Shit Creek or heading at full-speed in that direction, I decided to look at other companies with which Cairngorm has become involved.

Mindful of what I found on the Cairngorm Linkedin page.

Going through the Cairngorm website I turned up this list. So, naturally, I checked out these companies.

First, Bromborough Paints. And it’s quite an interesting tale.

Let’s start with this report from October 2022, telling us that Bromborough Paints had got involved with Cairngorm in March 2021. Then, after takeover, it rebranded to Paintwell.

And there were loans taken out. With Cairngorm acting as security agent.

Bromborough Paints had been in business for 60 years. The last accounts before the involvement of Cairngorm show a gross profit of £5.9m (Net profit £1.06m) on a turnover of £16.9m. And total equity of £12.4m.

Finally, Paintwell went into administration and was taken over by Brewers Decorator Centres. It’s alleged there is £30m in unsecured creditor claims.

‘Unsecured creditors’ are often redundant employees, local suppliers, the little people, not institutional lenders.

Next it’s Building Supplies Online Ltd. If it’s this company, then it was dissolved in September 2023. Though this article from June 2025 mentions CMO Group Ltd, also in Plymouth. CMO began life in June 2021 with a share issue of £50,000.

Against CMO there are two outstanding charges with Clydesdale Bank.

Not sure what’s going on here but, rather like some women I’ve known, it don’t look good from any angle.

Moving on to E-Zec Medical. (CH entry.) Where, by a long and tortuous ownership route (maybe a dozen companies!) we arrive at Emil W. Henry Jr of 717 Fifth Avenue, Suite 12a, New York, New York, United States. He took control in February 2025.

So who is he? Well, I found this:

Mr. Henry is the CEO and Founder of Tiger Infrastructure Partners, a private equity firm focused on infrastructure investment opportunities. Prior to founding Tiger Infrastructure Partners, he was Global Head of the Lehman Brothers Private Equity Infrastructure businesses, where he oversaw global infrastructure investments

Here’s the website for Tiger Infrastructure Partners.

Along the way, while chasing the ultimate owner, I noticed loans from Glas Trust. A name that’s cropped up on this blog more than once. Control of Glas Trust probably rests with yet another private equity firm, Levine Leichtman.

The most recently filed accounts for EZEC do not paint a healthy picture.

No 4 on the list is Grant & Stone Group. Which Cairngorm took over in November 2019. And things looked good, expansion followed.

Grant & Stone is now owned by Cairngorm Capital Partners III LP. I got that from the most recent accounts filed with Companies House, up to 31.12.2023. Companies House is still waiting for the latest accounts.

There are, predictably, two outstanding charges with Alter Domus Trustees (UK) Ltd.

I suspect Grant & Stone is another one about to bite the dust.

Next up is Independent Builders Merchants Group Ltd. Here’s what Cairngorm has to say. Though it needs updating. Again, two outstanding charges with Alter Domus Trustees (UK) Ltd.

At the time of writing, the accounts are overdue with Companies House.

Now we move on to MRO+ Solutions Group Ltd. This began life in December 2017 as Cairngorm Acquisitions 5 Bidco Ltd. It’s now owned by two-year-old Zinc Group Topco Ltd. Though ownership ultimately rests with Martin Green.

MRO is now losing money, and there are of course outstanding loans.

Millbrook Healthcare is the next stop. Bought by Cairngorm in 2019. At the top of the Millbrook ownership pile is Millbrook Healthcare Holdings Ltd, owned by Cairngorm Capital Partners LLP.

To my untrained eye, this is not a company in good financial health.

Fasten your seatbelts as we look at National Timber Group. This report from just last November might explain where we’re going. However, it seems there was a very recent ‘rescue’ by a Welsh company.

But don’t get carried away, because top of the ownership pile here seems to be National Timber Group Topco Ltd. Owned by Cairngorm Capital Partners II LP. With accounts overdue with Companies House. The most recent accounts filed (y/e 31.12.2023) show turnover dropping and, after returning a small profit in 2022, a whopping loss of £22,738,3045 in 2023!

On now to Sentry Doors. Sentry Doors Holdings Ltd was Dissolved in July last year. Though other companies in the group, such as Sentry Fire Safety Group Ltd, seem to retain the semblance of life. Though I’m not convinced.

Not clear which is the top company, but I am sure that everything is ultimately owned by Cairngorm Capital Partners II LP.

The next entry is Verso Wealth Management. Things seem to be chugging along quite nicely. Though I’d watch for the two outstanding charges with Glas Trust.

The penultimate case study is Whyte Bikes. Here’s the website.

This company was owned by Cairngorm until very recently, then sold to Irish company Causeway Capital. This entry below, listed under ‘Post Balance Sheet Events’ on the most recent accounts suggests the association with Cairngorm was not to Whyte’s advantage.

There are four outstanding charges, two with Cairngorm. So don’t build your hopes up.

Finally, a comment to my blog directed me to this Linkedin post. It’s worth reading. As are some of the comments. Not least because it gives us yet another company with which Cairngorm Capital has been involved. So let’s check it out.

The company is Customade Group Ltd. Dissolved at the end of 2019. I suggest the name to focus on among the directors is Neil Andrew McGill. Here’s his Linkedin page. And here he is getting a special mention from Cairngorm in December 2018.

McGill is now Group CFO at Verso Wealth, which we looked at just now.

Note the four outstanding charges. Two with Cairngorm.

So there you have it. The companies Cairngorm gets involved with are rarely unalloyed successes. In fact, there may not be one success among them.

There’s more chance of finding someone in the WRU hierarchy who understands rugby, and knows something about Wales, than there is of finding a Cairngorm success story.

But then, it all depends how you gauge ‘success’. Somebody, somewhere, is making a packet, but it won’t be the workers at the companies getting shafted by Cairngorm. Nor the small local suppliers left with unpaid bills.

ASSET MANAGEMENT & PRIVATE EQUITY

The financial world in recent decades has seen the rise of those who make nothing, grow nowt, contribute little to the wealth of nations, but become extremely rich, and politically powerful.

I’m referring to asset managers, most of which are US based. The Big Three being BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street. There are many, many others, like Alter Domus and Emil W Henry Jr.

They invest pension funds, personal savings, sovereign wealth funds, and money from other sources, with only one intention – making money. Which may be good news for Minnie Schwarz in Upstate New York, but is often bad news for those at the other end of the chain.

Which always seems to be us.

And while Cairngorm may protest they don’t invest in “distressed companies“, the companies they invest in soon end up in that state.

As for Consumer Energy Solutions, I’m convinced that what happened there couldn’t have been done without the cooperation of some of the directors at CES and the wider group.

So while I support MPs’ call for the Serious Fraud Office to look into the abuse of the ECO4 scheme, I also believe we need our own investigation in Wakes into the collapse of Consumer Energy Solutions and the behaviour of the wider group.

Focusing in particular on certain prominent individuals.

Buy Me A Coffee

Here We Go Again!

For all sorts of bizarre and complicated reasons I thought I’d lost my blog. But after a few frustrating days over New Year I finally managed to salvage it. So here’s bit of a ramble to kick off 2026.

TONY BLAIR, EDUCATOR

Some of you were a bit confused by the clip I used to accompany notice of this piece. I’m referring now to what I put up last Thursday on X. What you see below. Let me explain.

You may remember that about 30 years ago prime minister Tony Blair decided that 50% of young people should have the opportunity of higher education. What a wonderful idea! No, not really. Not when you think about.

To achieve this target A level grades and university entrance standards were lowered. Polytechnics became universities. And with the massive expansion of higher education people were taken on as tutors and lecturers who just weren’t up to the job.

Inevitably, academic standards fell. But that didn’t matter. Because the expansion of higher education was done for reasons that could never be said out loud.

So now half the 18+ population was rounded up and penned in to be ‘informed’, ‘influenced’ or, if we’re to be honest – brainwashed. To be brought around to a certain way of thinking and looking at the world.

That was the main reason for the expansion of higher education. And there’s nothing new in this. As this post on X from a few days ago reminded us.

The alternative was to have them leave school and get a job, where they’d work with people who’d experienced life, and held too many of the ‘wrong’ views. The real world, where they might settle down, have children . . .

But the UK economy can never provide jobs for a 50% graduate population. Maybe somewhere like Singapore can do it, or countries with expanding economies, even Gulf states where menial jobs and manual labour are for fixed-contract foreign workers.

But not the UK.

Which meant that at the end of their three years at university young people emerged having studied Racism and Patriarchy in The Simpsons, or Theoretical and Applied Marxism, expecting £70,000 a year (to start), a nice pad, and an endless round of Glasto and dinner parties with enlightened beings such as themselves.

So when they ended up stacking shelves at Tesco they was mighty pissed off.

Those who did find jobs paying reasonable salaries very often found those jobs with NGOs, ‘charities’, pressure groups, third sector bodies, or in politics. Making nothing, generating no wealth, creating no jobs, and adding nothing to society.

But associating with people sharing and reinforcing their ‘values’. And building bubbles insulated from the common herd and the real world this underclass inhabited.

All paid for with someone else’s money. Usually yours, through government funding. Cos decolonising them hateful Welsh cakes don’t come cheap.

Which resulted in the UK (and other Western countries) having a large segment of the younger population poorly educated, devoid of any practical skills, with nothing to offer an employer – but politically brainwashed.

Young people animated by feelings of moral and intellectual superiority, even narcissism, but feeling cheated and resentful because their talents are not properly rewarded by the world into which they’ve graduated.

For them, the reason for their lack of recognition in a declining economy and an increasingly fractured society had nothing to do with their own limitations – it was all the fault of the evils they’d been taught to watch out for and to combat.

Giving the Globalists and their Marxist allies the foot-soldiers needed to further the economic decline and the social divisions desired in order to bring about the demise of Western civilisation.

MAKING WAVES

Something I put out on X last week got a lot of hits, about 35k at the time of writing, so, after some digging, I’m going to expand on it.

First, let me say I’m indebted to the source that sent me the information that set me to digging. I won’t mention names, but you know who you are, so thank you.

What my source picked up was that a company based in Cornwall had received over £2 million from our wonderful, and self-styled, ‘Welsh Government’. To be exact, two million and one pounds. Here’s the clip I was sent.

You’ll see that the name of the company is Inyanga Marine Energy Group Ltd. Naturally, I went to the Companies House (CH) website and looked into the filings for this outfit. Here’s the entry.

Despite the front page describing the company as ‘Active’, it does in fact file as dormant. Wi’ nowt in t’kitty. Though in fairness, the most recent filing is for 2024. Though it suggests that empty coffers is not a new thing.

Seeing as we’re looking into wave energy it seems appropriate to describe this company as a shell. An empty shell.

Here’s a list of Inyanga shareholders. No mention of ‘WG’, and no names I recognise.

Despite this state of inactivity there is a website. And the company has had coverage in the media. That report I linked to in the Falmouth Packet says:

Inyanga Marine Energy Group, based in Penryn, has tasked Hutchinson Engineering with constructing its HydroWing tidal energy device.

The 20 MW HydroWing tidal energy array will be deployed at Morlais, off Anglesey in Wales

Which directs us to another company, HydroWing Ltd, giving an address in Gaerwen, Ynys Môn. Again, there is no mention of a loan from the ‘Welsh Government’. So was the two million smackeroos a grant?

Anyway, I turned to the CH filings for HydroWing Ltd. And found a further two companies of that name! The three are, in chronological order of formation: HydroWing Ltd (30.03.2017); HydroWing Tidal Projects Ltd (10.10.2022); HydroWing Tidal Projects 2 Ltd (16.04.2024).

All give their correspondence address as ‘M S Parc, Parc Gwyddoniaeth Menai, Gaerwen, Ynys Môn, United Kingdom, LL60 6AG’. Also known as Menai Science Park.

Though HydroWing is not listed as a tenant, or even a ‘virtual tenant’, yet Inyanga is. But why list as a dormant company in Cornwall when there are three HydroWing companies giving Companies House the Gaerwen address?

It gets a little more confusing (sorry!) when we try to track the ownership. The oldest HydroWing company is owned by Inyanga. The middle one by Sangoma Energy Projects Ltd of the same address. The latest by Richard James Parkinson.

Sangoma Energy Projects Ltd was formed as recently as February last year. The two directors, and owners, are Richard James Parkinson and a woman I take to be his wife.

Confused? I am.

Let’s briefly turn to the financial situation of these companies. Inyanga, as we’ve seen, files as dormant and with no cash. Here’s the statement for the oldest HydroWing at 31 January 2024. Rather uninspiring.

Here are the shareholders. Some of the same names we saw with Inyanga, with the Parkinson family well represented. But the largest shareholder, with over 1,600,000 shares, is Inyanga itself, the dormant company we started out with. Owned by Mr and Mrs Parkinson.

Based at, Unit 3 Penstraze Business Centre, Penstraze, Chacewater, Truro. Another ‘virtual office’.

The ‘middle’ HydroWing files as dormant with just £100 in the kitty.

The ‘youngest’ is too new to have filed accounts.

All the companies we’ve looked at are Private Limited Companies (as opposed to Public Limited Companies). Which raises the issue of the accounts available with Companies House being so far behind.

For Public Limited Companies normally have six months to file their accounts after the end of their accounting period. Private Limited Companies (and Limited Liability Partnerships) usually have nine months.

But for some reason the Parkinson companies have twelve months, and seem to take every day of it. Accounts for the three HydroWing companies using the Gaerwen address are due with CH by the end of this month.

But even so, it’s difficult to see any Welsh benefit from this money. We seem to have a family-owned Cornish company that’s realised how much money is available in Wales by pushing the right planet-saving buttons.

For to refer back to the piece in the Falmouth Packet . . .

The foundation frame will be partly constructed at Hutchinson Engineering’s factory in Cheshire, with final construction taking place quayside in Wales.

That’s this company. Owned, via Modernuser Ltd, by Dean Drinkwater. A man mighty ‘close’ to Labour – and a fan of both Starmer and Miliband!

The more I dug into the two million quid gift (from us), and its recipients, the more of a rodenty sort of smell assailed the delicate nostrils of my fine – and oft remarked-upon – Roman nose.

There is summat not right here. Looking forward now to reading the next accounts.

MEANWHILE, ACROSS THE POND

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, or relying on mainstream media for news, you’ll know that over in the USA the arrangement between the Globalists, their Democrat party puppets, and their corrupt immigrant allies, is being blown apart.

News coming out of Minnesota makes it clear that Democrat politicians at the highest levels encouraged Somali fraudsters to steal billions from federal funding with all manner of scams. With much of the money going back to Somalia to fund the Islamist terrorists of Al Shabab, even being flown out of Minneapolis-St. Paul airport in suitcases stuffed with cash!

At the rate of a million dollars a day!

The rest of the loot went on luxury homes, jewellery and Rolls Royces for the fraudsters; with millions more going into the campaigns of the Democrat politicians who’d encouraged and covered up the theft.

With some of the loot I’m sure going to ActBlue, the Democrats machine for funding the ‘spontaneous’ protests we see across the USA.

Minnesota is just the tip of the iceberg. The situation is even worse in California, New York City, Chicago, Michigan, and other places.

Where do the Globalists fit into this picture?

What we see with the widespread abuse of federal funding in the USA, linked with Net Zero deindustrialisation and open borders, is part of the wider agenda to wreck Western economies and societies. To impose decline and encourage despair. To the point of total collapse; when the Globalists will step in to ‘save’ us all with Digital ID, CBDC, censorship, curfews . . .

Fortunately, the Trump administration is taking action.

Of course, the left shouts ‘Racism!‘ and ‘Islamophobia!‘, because whether it’s women with penises or polar bear numbers, the left is averse to facts.

The mainstream media either ignores the story or else targets the messengers, such as twenty-two-year old Nick Shirley.

But this exposure has resonated across America, and is doing the Democrats great harm. Because if you’re a hard-working, tax-paying citizen; black, white or Hispanic, US born or an immigrant through the correct channels, you know you pay too much tax, and when you see that money being ripped off like this, you get angry.

The Democrats were tanking in the polls before these videos went viral, before the evidence emerged, before Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced he was pulling out of the gubernatorial race; and so only ballot rigging in the states they still control can save the party from complete wipeout in this year’s mid-term elections.

That the Trump administration understands how the Globalists operate was evidenced by a measure introduced recently that’s had little coverage in the Mainstream media. What a surprise!

Family homes for hard-working, tax-paying, US citizens. How it used to be.

Take 15 minutes to hear in the video below what else Trump is doing to loosen the Globalist grip on the USA. For him it’s about sovereignty, freedom from international bodies that restrict nations’ ability to serve their national interests, and their peoples.

Who can disagree?

It’s done through international ‘agreements’, corruption, money-laundering, and support for, and from, some very unpleasant – but useful or compliant – ‘leaders’.

The Globalists want total control and ownership of everything you think you own, or might want to own. Which explains why BlackRock and other ‘asset managers’ are buying up private homes.

And who do you think will be getting those homes? Well, the future is already playing out in the Globalist colony of Ireland.

You remember what the World Economic Forum (WEF) promised us: “You’ll own nothing, and be happy“. Well, it’s a-comin’.

But only if we allow it.

By happy coincidence the head man at the WEF now is Larry Fink, who just happens to be the CEO of BlackRock. (What are the chances of that happening by accident!)

You must remember Larry, he was over in London not long after his creature Starmer was – for reasons that will ever elude me – elected to manage the UK on the Globalists’ behalf. What a welcome he had!

He came just after, or maybe it was just before, ‘Dr’ Bill Gates of Covid vaccine fame.

Having received his orders to run down and destabilise the UK, to remove freedoms, and to favour certain groups, Starmer has spent the last year or so obeying.

He may even subscribe to the Globalist agenda, but just in case . . . they’ve got the goods on him. And it’s much more than three Ukrainian rent boys, duckie.

Fundamental to the Globalist agenda of destabilising and undermining the West is anti-white racism. This will take many forms. A favourite is to demand ‘reparations’ by pretending that only white people ever practised slavery. Or that only white people were ever colonialists. To disprove both I suggest a cursory study of Islam.

But then, the Globalists are in league with Islam. And Marxism.

That insane ideology that has always failed in practice and is now reduced to an intellectual exercise in the avoidance of truth and reality for embittered losers in academia and elsewhere. But whose suicidally empathetic devotees can be relied on to march with placards and slogans (both ready-made) attacking the institutions of Western civilisation.

So thank God for Trump and the USA.

But as I keep telling you, the rolling back of Globalist plans in the USA means that the focus turns to Europe. And that includes Wales. You think I exaggerate? Just look at the muppets in the Senedd, and then image 36 more of them in May! Or look at the quality of our MPs.

Both virtue signalling SMs and posturing MPs are interested in anything but the real world concerns of 90% of Welsh people. Just feigning interest before elections.

CONCLUSION

I’m coming around to the way of thinking that says the system we live under is too corrupt, too far gone, to be reformed. Too many institutions from the monarchy down have been captured.

We need a complete change. We need a revolution. From the bottom up. For the working class is the last redoubt of patriotism and common sense. (Which explains why it’s now reviled by Marxists.)

I’m not suggesting guillotines, firing squads, or violence of any kind. Just turning our backs on the existing system. Refusing to participate in the charade of electoral politics, rejecting corrupted authority, and creating alternative structures and systems.

As might be done by the population of an occupied country in which the elite had thrown in its lot with the occupier.

The alternative is to let Larry Fink and his mates win, and let their ‘progressive’ puppets introduce you to the joys of twenty-first century, hi tech serfdom.

Tidings Of Unease And Foreboding

This is the last posting of 2025. I just wish I could be more optimistic. But the lunatics have taken over the asylum and it looks like they might burn it to the ground.

WAY BACK WHEN . . .

As he left office in January 1961 outgoing US President Dwight D Eisenhower (R) warned against what he called the “military-industrial complex” (MIC).

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes.

Eisenhower’s successor was Democrat John Fitzgerald Kennedy. For failing to use US troops for an invasion of Cuba, and for refusing to sanction the war the MIC wanted in Vietnam, JFK was assassinated.

Kennedy said many things. But let’s remember that he wanted to, ” . . . splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it into the winds”.

For by the early 1960s the Central Intelligence Agency had become a law unto itself, allied with the MIC; free of political oversight, forming its own foreign policy, and acting independently both at home and overseas.

Perhaps they got a taste for it in 1953, when they helped MI6 overthrow the democratically-elected nationalist prime minister in Persia, Mohammad Mosaddegh. Handing all power to the Western puppet whose excesses led to the 1979 revolution and the return of Ayatollah Khomeini.

Interestingly, that revolution saw socialists and Islamists combine to overthrow the Shah. The comrades were soon gobbled up by the tiger they were riding.

To explain . . . the military-industrial complex is an alliance of US corporations involved in the production of armaments and other military necessities aligned with with gung-ho generals (aka ‘The Pentagon’) and the agency that is supposed to monitor and counter overseas threats to the US homeland.

The collective term often used is the ‘Deep State’.

For these people, and as Tom Paxton sang in Daily News:

Ban the bombers are afraid of a fight
Peace hurts business and that ain’t right

At its simplest; war is good for corporate business, it wins gongs for generals and admirals, while sociopaths in Langley VA can bring about the next war through false flag operations, propaganda, or whatever. Or they can while away the hours organising regime change hither and yon.

We see them exposed in Kubrick’s 1964 masterpiece Dr Strangelove: Brig Gen Jack Ripper, good ole boy Maj ‘King’ Kong (who unforgettably rides the bomb), Col ‘Bat’ Guano, Gen ‘Buck’ Turgidson.

THE WORLD TURNS UPSIDE DOWN

The military-industrial complex was largely a creature of the political right, as was the CIA. Democrats, and liberals more generally, opposed their machinations.

But as the USA suffered financial crises, moved factories overseas, the once-mighty auto industry struggled against foreign competition, with the advent of computers and the internet, the face of American capitalism changed. And with it, political influence.

We had a new generation of multi-billionnaires, many of whom can fairly be described as geeks, but with the power to influence the thinking of the masses. This was coupled with the rise of hedge funds and asset managers, who made nothing, they just invested other people’s money to enrich themselves and gain immense political power.

Without getting in over my head, or risk being called a conspiracy theorist, the Deep State soon realised the power of the new media and the new money. And began co-operating with both.

But there was a slight problem. The geeks and others tended be more liberal in their outlook than the CEO of arms manufacturer Kill All Commie Bastards Inc. They gravitated towards the Democrats rather than towards the Republicans.

I believe there was an uncomfortable accommodation with the new oligarchy that saw the Deep State become for a period bi-partisan, and now, bizarrely, closer to the Democrats than the Republicans.

In fact, those in Donald Trump’s administration talk openly of dismantling the Deep State, defunding it’s money-laundering NGOs and other agencies, and putting an end to the ‘forever wars’ on which the military-industrial complex thrived for decades.

Perhaps even doing away with ‘The Fed‘. Which was set up by bankers to serve bankers. Now Trump wants the US economy to serve the people by concentrating on the ‘real’ economy.

What a novelty!

Big Money is not happy. That includes the City of London. Explained in this video.

Then again, considering that the Deep State sought to imprison him, perhaps even assassinate him, you can understand why Trump’s not too well disposed towards it.

Because the internet is global, and so is money, the new elite often sees a world without borders. Through this mindset, plus their co-operation with supranational bodies like the UN, WEF, Club of Rome, they attracted the soubriquet ‘Globalists’.

The Deep State can go along with this because while Microsoft or BlackRock want to unite the human race like that old Coke advert, they remain US corporations, extending US influence.

THE NEW ALLIANCE IN OPERATION

The Deep State-Globalist alliance now extends its malign influence across the Western world; done through converting/subverting elites, funding educational establishments, buying media, and thereby corrupting countries.

When BlackRock CEO Larry Fink visited London last year to give Starmer and his crew their orders he was presented as a successful businessman, and a ‘good guy’; as opposed to Trump and his associates who – thanks to a media largely controlled by Fink and his ilk – are the bad guys, the ‘far right’, even fascist.

For as we are reminded after every Islamist atrocity – by that same media – the biggest terror threat to the West comes from ‘far right extremism’.

The next element to join the Deep State-Globalist march to ultimate power was the left. Feeling low after the collapse of the Soviet bloc, and China abandoning the centralised economy model, socialists were at a bit of a loose end.

But the impulse to destroy the capitalist West, demolish churches, and unite the global proletariat remained.

Which chimed perfectly with the Globalist vision of a world controlled by them with no competing loyalties such as family, nation, or religion.

And so the most absurd ideas of the revamped left were encouraged. Women have penises, white people (particularly men) are dangerous, boys are girls and girls are boys, secure elections are racist, while religion is a pernicious evil from which mankind must be freed . . . but Islam’s just fine.

For in its assault on the West the Globalists also needed Islam, but there weren’t enough Muslims here to really pose a threat. So from 2016 or so Europe was told to open its doors to hundreds of thousands of ‘refugees’, people escaping war and persecution. (Wars often started by the Deep State.)

The same thing happened under Biden (or whoever was running the USA).

But the over-arching scam used to weaken and demoralise the West through deindustrialisation, and employed to control human behaviour, while also being used to grab land and other resources, was the ‘Climate Crisis’, and the carefully orchestrated hysteria over carbon levels in the atmosphere.

Both now exposed as utter bullshit.

HOW THE EU FITS

From a Globalist perspective, the European Union represents the future model they’d like to impose on the world.

To begin with, at national level, voters are offered a ‘choice’ from establishment parties and politicians that answer to the Globalists. Parties and politicians that don’t toe the Globalist line are persecuted.

We saw this with Trump under the Biden administration, we see it Europe with Marine le Pen banned from standing for the French presidency, moves to ban AfD in Germany, the demonisation of Reform and Farage, elections and referendums being re-run from Romania to Ireland until the ‘right’ result is achieved.

Politicians from these Globalist-approved parties are elected to the European Parliament. Where they are ultimately impotent. The President of the EU Parliament since January 2022 is Roberta Metsola. You ever heard of her? Nor me.

That’s because the EU is run like the old Soviet Union. The Parliament is a talking shop. Decisions are made by the politburo, which in the EU is the Commission. Headed by the unelected Ursula von der Leyen. You’ve all heard of her.

Which means that some 450 million people are effectively ruled by one woman that nobody voted for – but she’s a loyal Globalist.

This explains why another Globalist puppet, PM Keir Starmer, who has done so much for Ukraine (especially its young ‘male models’), is taking the UK back into the EU, step by step.

Because those are his orders.

BUT HOW DOES IT END?

Globalism is cornered, but far from defeated.

Having its grip on the USA loosened by President Trump, and with Latin America turning against them, it was inevitable that the Deep-State-Globalists would focus increasingly on Europe.

But this side of the Atlantic don’t look a whole lot better for them.

Their puppets are reviled, especially those leading the three major European economies. (With Italy less and less willing to obey EU diktats.) ‘Insurgent’ parties head the polls in France, Germany, and the UK. Countries in the east are in open revolt against the EU over immigration and funding for the war in Ukraine.

As the BBC reported it: “Hungary and Slovakia are known to be closer to the Kremlin.” Er, no, closer to sanity would be nearer the mark. But that’s how the media operates: join in the madness or be branded a “puppet of Putin“.

But a cornered animal is dangerous. And desperate.

For while BlackRock and others have major investments in Ukraine, the ultimate target, the whole point of this war, is to weaken and hopefully defeat, Russia. Then to seize as ‘reparations’ the vast resources of that huge country. But it’s not going to happen.

For no matter how much Western aid Ukraine has received, in funding, in armaments, military ‘advisers’, intelligence, it’s losing.

And that’s why we hear silly talk now of Russia threatening the West. To justify all-out war. But there’ll be little support from ordinary people in the West. They’ve been lied to too often; on Covid, Net Zero, DEI, open borders. They live with the results.

So the Globalists are staring at the loss of money and power.

While for Starmer, Merz, Macron, von der Leyen, and the other Globalist puppets, war has become their only hope of survival.

Their economies are collapsing, their peoples are in revolt, so war will allow them to declare martial law, impose complete censorship, cancel elections, bring in Digital ID, restrict movement, impose rationing, and make our lives even more miserable.

And by so doing usher in the age of full and untrammeled Globalist control.

But for the time being, masters and servants are so desperate that they might resort to anything to save their miserable skins. So be on your guard. Make your feelings known to the elite. And don’t believe anything the Globalist media tells you.

Russia has no intention of attacking the West. But she will respond if she’s attacked.

So don’t support a war to save Globalism and its beleaguered elites.

‘Corruption Bay’ Living Up To Its Name?

This is a big post, in two ways. First, because there’s a lot of money involved. And second, because an incredible claim I stumbled upon throws up a very disturbing possibility.

HITTING THE BIG TIME (REVISITED)

In July I wrote about companies in south east Wales being bought out and having lots of money pumped into them. You’ll find it here; ‘Saving The Planet – The Globalist Way!’.

These companies are involved in, “energy efficiency“; which means ‘retrofitting’ homes with solar panels, cavity wall insulation, heat pumps, loft insulation, that kind of thing.

They’re all linked under the holding company Dragon 2023 Topco Ltd. From the most recent accounts submitted to Companies House here’s a list of the companies owned.

And here’s my table of the interlinked companies and individuals involved, in pdf format with working links. (And helpful notes!)

The majority shareholding in Dragon 2023 Topco lies with Cairngorm Capital Partners LLP of Edinburgh. Part of the Cairngorm group of companies. Dragon 2023 Topco’s directors are: Robert Brodie; Chris McLain; Andrew Steel, managing partner of Cairngorm Capital Partners LLP; and Jonathan Neale.

Steel is also named as the controlling interest.

Another key player is, or was, Matt Anstead, managing director of Cairngorm Capital Partners LLP. Below is a clip from Anstead’s Linkedin page.

You’ll see Anstead joined Cairngorm around the time they took over the Welsh companies. Was he brought in for that job? And was the takeover funded with three loans in 2024 from Metro Bank?

Funding to the companies themselves comes from Alter Domus, a company registered in Luxembourg, that seeks ‘alternative investments’, and was recently taken over itself by another private equity firm Cinven.

What’s really behind it is, as ever, money. Local companies expand thanks to the UK government ECO4 scheme, making them attractive to bigger fish; while also offering opportunities for others to profit from investing in these companies and then claiming to be saving the planet in some way.

There are obviously pay-offs for those who’ve been previously involved in the companies, and of course jobs are created; but as ever – this being socialist Wales – the real money leaves the country.

I make that point because, as you should know by now, I support the capitalist model, and I have no objections to profits being made. But as a Welshman, and a nationalist, it pisses me off to see the profits leave Wales.

Wasn’t devolution supposed to improve things?

Before pushing on maybe I should remind you that July’s post was in two parts. One dealt with the companies taken over by Cairngorm Capital; the other with companies in the same area, and the same line of business, that were taken over by Buckthorn Partners LLP of Jersey.

Maybe I’ll return to this second lot another day.

NICK PRITCHARD

Now we’re going to look at another man with a role in (he certainly benefitted from) the takeovers we just looked at. Though it’s not always easy to figure it out.

If the name rings a bell, it might be because Pritchard appeared in a Nation.Cymru article a few weeks back written by Martin ‘Shippo’ Shipton. It recounted Pritchard’s conviction in 2010 for growing cannabis, or providing premises where it might be grown.

So why bring it up now? Because Pritchard is associated with Reform UK, and may wish to stand for the UK parliament. This interest in his past is another sign of the desperate establishment that recently sent down Nathan Gill for something he said in 2018, and is now hunting for people Nigel Farage might have thrown milk over in kindergarten.

All done because the Globalist elite, and the political and media establishments they control, are getting worried by the rise of the ‘far right’ across the Western world. And so, as a mouthpiece for the Corruption Bay Uniparty, Nation.Cymru must get stuck in . . . or risk losing its ‘Welsh Government’ funding.

That said, Nick Pritchard is an interesting character; he seems to be a bit of a Jack the Lad, always looking for ways to make money. Nothing wrong with that as long as you stay on the sunny side.

But things never seem to be simple with Pritchard. Take this piece from Ideas Fest promoting his appearance at some event next year (my highlighting):

In 2013, Nick founded City Energy Network, an innovative energy efficiency consultancy based in Cardiff. The company specialises in the full retrofit journey from initial consultation to the implementation of the renewable measures recommended, his group of companies plan, and installs energy efficiency and low carbon measures for both homes and businesses and also specialises in Local Authority large scale projects.

But it makes no sense.

For a start, City Energy Network Ltd (CEN) was formed in 2011, but Pritchard’s name never appeared as a director or a shareholder. Perhaps because, Pritchard, sent down in 2010 for three-and-a-half years, would have been in prison when CEN was formed.

And what’s included in “the group of companies“?

Seeing as 2013 is mentioned by Ideas Fest, Pritchard may have been represented by one or both of Nicola Vaughan and Michelle Roberts, who became CEN directors 31.01.2014.

But even after he was released from prison I’m fairly sure Pritchard would have been disqualified from acting as a director for a few years. If he was operating through Roberts and / or Vaughan at CEN then “proxy management” is a criminal offence.

Coinciding with the arrival of Roberts and Vaughan all 100 CEN shares were transferred to Diversity Network Holdings Ltd (DNH), which Roberts and Vaughan had joined 28.01.2014. Pritchard didn’t become a director until April 2020.

A declaration dated 28.01.2015 shows the 100 DNH shares now distributed thus:

Though Pritchard did join Diversity Network Ltd 14.05.2012, which might have been not long after he was out of prison. And surely disqualified? Also directors were Michelle Roberts and Shelley Roberts.

There are other anomalies I could point out. Check names, DoB, dates.

When he was sent to prison Pritchard was reported to be in the “lettings business” in Bangor and other parts of north west Wales. He’s from Bangor, passionate about the local football club, he serves on the city council, so how and why did he get involved with companies in a totally different line of business at the opposite end of the country?

Hoping to make sense of it on a wet night with no football on the telly, I compiled a list of the companies Pritchard’s been involved with. Here it is, with the company name serving as a hyperlink.

You’ll see three company names in yellow blocks. These are also found in the previous table I linked to, showing the companies taken over by Cairngorm Capital. His past involvement with these companies perhaps accounts for Pritchard’s sizeable share allocation in holding company Dragon 2023 Topco Ltd.

You’ll see other individuals there with sizeable shareholdings. All have been involved with the companies we’re looking at. And Ahmud Saleem Eamon Furreed is a Labour party donor. (There may be other donors.)

Obviously, companies doing the kind of work we’re looking at need a stamp of approval, some accreditation. From a company like Quidos of Bath. And as you can see if you scroll down on that link, you have to pay for it.

But Pritchard now seems to own Quidos through year-old Quidos Holdings Ltd!

It could make life easier when you’ve got big stakes in companies ‘retrofitting’ and you also own a company that’ll give them a certificate to put up on the office wall saying they know what they’re doing.

Though many would disagree. Such as those involved with this website. Or those who gave these reviews to a company that’s among the clutch bought up by Cairngorm.

And we’ve all heard tales of cavity wall insulation resulting in damp and other horrors. I could tell you my own story.

You might have noticed that in some of his most recent business ventures Pritchard has been joined by celeb economist Dylan Jones-Evans.

What the hell is that about?

WHERE IT GETS WEIRD

While researching this article I stumbled upon a remarkable letter addressed to Paul Davies AS/SM, in his capacity as chair of the Senedd Economy, Trade and Rural Affairs Committee.

It gets included in this piece because I’m convinced there’s a connection to what you’ve just read. Anyway, here’s the (redacted) letter. I urge you to read it carefully and consider what it alleges.

After reading it I last Monday I e-mailed Paul Davies asking what had happened to the complaint. Here’s his response. (The links don’t work as there’s an issue with linking to pdf docs created from e-mails.)

So here’s the link to the report on the DBW he references (Section 9).

I asked if I could use his response and he agreed.

I would have tried to contact the complainant, but one problem was that I believe he’s moved from his original address. The other reason will be given later.

What the letter alleges is that the complainant (hereinafter referred to as ‘A’) came up with a good idea, and was doing quite well . . .

The company grew quickly and gained significant market traction with companies such as Sainsburys Supermarkets and BT Openreach.

But presumably needing to expand, ‘A’ in 2017 applied to Finance Wales (now Development Bank of Wales) for a loan. That’s when things started going wrong.

Not only does ‘A’ claim he had to take on “a bank-appointed expert”, and pay that ‘expert’ £150,000 pa, but . . .

Less than 1 year later, I was accused of taking “unauthorised funds” from the company’s bank account and sacked.

This happened to be just 1 month after my refusal to sell the business to BT Group.

I lost my job, my shares (approx £3.8m at that time), my patent (£13m-£17m valuation) and was forced to go bankrupt in September 2018.

Is the complainant suggesting a link between him refusing to sell up to the BT Group and the criminal charges that soon followed?

Things got even worse. ‘A’ was arrested, tried at Swansea Crown Court – but was acquitted by the jury. (Which might explain why the Labour government in Westminster wants trials without juries.)

To add insult to injury . . .

To note, after my dismissal the business was moved from Lampeter . . . where we employed up to 17 local people to Cardiff. Where they employed only 3.

After the business moved to Cardiff, both [name redacted] and [name redacted] set up new battery storage business, using my invention, and even got further funding from DBoW for these copy cat companies.

That is one hell of a story. And yet, if you think about it, the danger of such an outcome is always there. Just imagine . . .

Dai Schmuck out in the sticks comes up with a good idea, but he needs money to expand. So he goes to the Development Bank of Wales. They appoint ‘advisors’, who may move in the same circles as the bank officials who give them the gig.

The DBW admits to appointing the same favourites as ‘advisors’ again and again.

In a follow up letter to the Committee’s session with the Bank, the Chief Executive noted that it did re-appoint the same people
multiple times if it thought that person was a good match and had capacity.

Though an unscrupulous ‘advisor’ might say to himself: “Hang on, this bloke’s got a good idea – let’s nick it and make a fortune“. It’s a sweet system, but only if you’re well connected in Corruption Bay.

I could tell you more, but I’d be sticking my scrawny neck out. What I will say is that as I know the name of the company ‘A’ is referring to I can probably identify those he claims ripped him off.

From what I can see, ‘A’s allegations seem to have been kicked into the long grass. Maybe nobody in Corruption Bay wants to know the truth. Or perhaps they don’t want us to know the truth.

But the real twist is that ‘A’ is now teamed up with Nick Pritchard. And this happened soon after he started making waves with his letter to Andrew Davies.

What the hell is that about?

CONCLUSION

We need an independent investigation into the Development Bank of Wales.

In particular, we need to know how it chooses ‘advisors’ for small companies needing help. We also need to know the conditions imposed on those companies. And the behaviour expected of the ‘advisors’.

But then, it’s unlikely anyone will get straight answers. Because Wales is corrupt.

All devolution has done is give Labour more chances to be corrupt, more money to squander, while also providing more opportunities for cronyism. Third sector outfits, pressure groups (closed to non-socialists), are funded to fight problems that don’t exist.

Sinecures and non-jobs for insiders proliferate.

In recent decades Labour’s joined forces with Plaid Cymru. Together, they’ve built a fortress they see as a bastion from where they combat racists, homophobes, climate deniers, Islamophobes, a white supremacist countryside, misinformation, and colonialist Welsh cakes!

In truth, it’s ‘Corruption Bay’, and its enemies are honesty and openness.

Because what they get up to must be kept secret. This explains why Corruption Bay is unique in the Western world in refusing to have a register of lobbyists. “Why do you need to know?

But I’m forgetting Cairngorm Capital, Nick Pritchard and the rest . . . here we have a man with a ‘colourful’ past, dubious associates, now teamed up with Professor Dylan Jones-Evans, who’s often critical of the DBW. Pritchard also teamed up with ‘A’ soon after ‘A’s complaint against DBW was heard.

What the hell is that about?

Answers on a postcard please. (I will not accept diagrams or flowcharts.)

WWF War On Farmers Takes To The Sea!

In a sense, this piece follows on from last week’s post about Plaid Cymru betraying Welsh farmers with absurd claims that agriculture alone is responsible for the pollution in our rivers.

We’ll meet again that Nazi-origined, anti-humanity crew of Globalist schemers in WWF, but also some interesting new faces. First, we head to Pembrokeshire.

LAVERBREAD TYCOONS

When preparing last week’s piece I was sent information about a company down west in the seaweed business. The name I was given was Câr y Môr. I was told this outfit returned a loss of £278,000 on a turnover of just £600k.

Which my source – with a lifetime in business himself – assured me was unsustainable. How did this company stay afloat? (I shall try to avoid the water-themed analogies, metaphors and allusions.)

So I went digging. Which wasn’t easy. The Companies House website told me it’s registered with the Financial Conduct Authority. By translating the company name into English you turn this up.

Now you’d think it would be a simple matter to go to the FCA website, type in RS008172, and Robert would become your cousin’s father. But no, it’s never that simple on the FCA website.

Through a combination of luck and persistence I eventually found For the love of the sea Ltd Registration Number: 8172. Here are the accounts confirming the parlous financial situation.

That’s despite receiving, as this piece from February 2022 tells us, a £300,000 grant from the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund. There’s talk of a bridging loan, which may explain the loan in May 2024 from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.

This big charity was mentioned in last week’s piece as a major donor to the WWF, RSPB, Soil Association, The Rivers Trust, and many others on the eco-shyster merry-go-round.

But then there was another loan taken out this year with NatWest Social & Community Capital.

And it’s difficult to get a handle on exactly who’s involved, and what other companies may be under the Câr y Môr banner, or trading under different names.

For example, I found Solva Seafoods. Which proclaims it’s ‘Part of Câr y Môr’.

This Guardian article from November last year helps explain what’s going on, and why the money is so readily available. The magic words are, “environmental awareness” and “vegan“.

I’ve brought my family here to explore the “seaweed revolution”. A happy combination of increased environmental awareness and more people seeking vegan alternatives has taken seaweed mainstream.

Another company mentioned in the newspaper article was the Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company Ltd. Which also seems to be linked to Câr y Môr.

It’s had a loan from the Development Bank of Wales. Perhaps to buy a pub. For the company is now registered as The Old Point House Ltd and uses that address.

And other funding from the National Lottery Community Fund.

Clearly, seaweed has gone “mainstream” for Guardian writers. And that’s good enough for the readers of that newspaper who infest our political class and major funding bodies.

Which gives us small-scale operations in Pembrokeshire, which may or may not be economically viable, at the front of the queue for funding because they tick the right boxes.

But even though seaweed gets the publicity I can’t help think that the real money may not be in seaweed but in crabs and lobsters. How does lobsters being boiled alive sit with the comrade vegans at the WWF and elsewhere?

Are our crustacean friends expendable in the service of the bigger scam?

But enough from Pembrokeshire – lovely as she is – for I think all this talk of seaweed is drawing bigger fish. (Sorry!).

UPDATE 22.10.2025: Someone directed me to this funding which, although it mentions seaweed, seems to confirm my suspicion that the real business is crabs and lobsters.

This source even suggests that these crustaceans are bought in and sold as local – with a 100% markup!

There have been other grants, one from ‘Welsh Governmentvia the WCVA.

SEAGRASS FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS

The article below appeared in last Saturday’s Western Mail. (Here in pdf format.) It’s basically about the threat of pollution to seagrass on the coast of Llŷn.

It’s cleverly written, pushing the right buttons and worded to evoke a positive reaction. There’s psychology applied here. I’m surprised no one takes credit for it.

But maybe we can hazard a guess at the writer. As I hope to explain.

You’ll see I’ve marked it with numbers. So let’s go through them.

1/ “Five-year-old Aled” is a classic way to start an article in order to get the reader on your side. What hard-hearted bastard would not be receptive to what follows an intro like that?

2/ “Climate change“. The foundation scam upon which the superstructure of further lies, sleaze, political capture, corporate greed and behavioural control is built.

3/ Who calculates these ‘losses’? Answer: The same enviro-shysters seeking to profit from putting them right.

4/ Cymru Can is yet another dollop of Future Generations bullshit.

5/ The ubiquitous Derek Walker, Future Generation Commissioner for Wales. He featured in last week’s piece. His predecessor Sophie Howe is now on the books at Bute Energy, paving the way for wind turbines, pylons, and God knows what else.

6/ The Future Generations legislation is now a decade old. Yet no other country on Earth has decided to follow the lead. Strange, that. Or maybe not.

7/ It was inevitable that we’d encounter WWF Cymru, which also had a big part in last week’s presentation on Plaid Cymru betraying Welsh farmers.

8/ North Wales Wildlife Trust has received £328,850 from ‘Welsh Government’ contracts in the past 5 years; £10.73m in grants.

9/ Project Seagrass is new to me. I shall have more to say anon.

10/ Lottery funding, another feature we saw in last week’s piece.

11/ ‘Welsh Government’ – i.e. thee and me – will be paying for a seagrass project officer.

12/ Article mentions ” . . . nutrient run-off from agriculture and sewage“.

13/ But the WWF spokesperson, Penny Nelson, believes it’s solely due to, not just farming, but “intensive agriculture“. Yeah, lay it on thick, girl. The same lie we heard from the stage at the Plaid Cymru conference, and I reported in last’s week’s offering. She’s also a trustee at another coastal charity – in sea-girt Leicestershire.

14/ Colouring books from Uncle Carl! What next – drag shows?

15/ “Spreading stories“. When I was a boy, this meant fibbing. Making things up. And this is certainly what environmentalists do.

16/ Where exactly are these “disadvantaged coastal areas“?

17/ “More funding“. How much do you want? Because Wales is a rich country, and we have no pressing priorities.

18/ Did we mention “future generations“?’

19/ Here’s Derek Walker, again.

20/ Ah! the “climate emergency“. (See 2 above.)

21/ In case you missed it – the “climate emergency!”

Clearly, WWF Cymru, with seagrass and ‘the marine environment’, and with ‘Welsh Government’ support, is opening another front in the war against Welsh farmers. This time for polluting our coastal waters.

And yet . . . we earlier read about a thriving aquaculture in Pembrokeshire, which is a largely rural county, with a lengthy coastline, and many, many farms. Strange, that.

SEAGRASS NEEDS INVESTORS

So what is this Project Seagrass? Here’s the website. To start with, it’s a registered charity. It was launched in 2015 but only since 2020 has the money rolled in.

Which coincides with the arrival as a trustee of Rosslyn Barr. Here’s her Linkedin profile. (Where she’s Rosslyn Clowe.) We see she’s Chair of the Board of Trustees.

Despite claiming to be active in countries around the world I was surprised to see that Seagrass Project’s given address is on the Brackla Industrial Estate, Bridgend. How long has it been there, I wonder? And who’s paying the rent?

Project Seagrass is of course a non-political organisation . . . well, until you see that it doesn’t use the X (Twitter) social media platform. Which tells you a lot.

Here’s a fuller profile of Rosslyn Barr-Clowe from the Project Seagrass website. But none of what we’ve read so far tells us her day job. Did she retire early? Win the Lottery?

Was she working in Malta for 6 years with Sharklab Malta?

If you scroll down on Linkedin you’ll see that the last ‘day job’ was with Royal London, where she worked for over 10 years, until eight years ago. Her last post was Head of Change Transformation (Intermediary).

But did she really leave the Royal London Group? I ask because I found this in a search, dated May this year. It links Rosslyn Barr with the Royal London Group. I found it on the Emphasis website, a company that helps people improve their writing skills, offering various courses, one shown below.

Is / was she a tutor with Emphasis? Did she write the piece that appeared in last Saturday’s Western Mail?

Like all big companies Royal London is into making money from pretending to be more altruistic, and the way to do that nowadays is to make people think your only motivation is to save the planet.

Royal London has gone in big. Just last year it splashed out £260m buying 21,000 acres of farmland. As Head of Property for Royal London Asset Management, Mark Evans, put it:

Working alongside South Yorkshire Pension Authority to invest into the largest farming transaction by capital value in the UK has provided an exceptional opportunity to launch our natural capital strategy.

Yeah, ‘natural capital’. Monetise everything.

Then, last month, Rosslyn Barr-Clowe joined another coastal protection outfit. This one being the Protected Areas Foundation, registered as a charity 29 November last year.

Interestingly, the two founding trustees are Suresh Nalin Weerasinghe, a lawyer with Aviva, which works with BlackRock. The other founder trustee is Patrick Peter Joseph Hargreaves, CEO at AKO Capital LLP. Director at AKO Capital Management Ltd. Portfolio Manager of the AKO Global Fund.

So the woman who is lead trustee at Project Seagrass, so busy around the Welsh coast at the moment, has just joined another coastal protection charity, where the two other trustees are most definitely from asset management and investments.

But we’re expected to believe it’s all about the quality of the water?

The Protected Areas Foundation (The PAF) is a UK charity dedicated to developing the capacity and skills of coastal communities, mobilising sustainable finance, and enabling co-governance to effectively manage marine protected areas.

Ah! Sustainable finance. What that really means is financial institutions capitalising on ‘sustainability’, often using mechanisms of their own invention and their own definition of what qualifies as sustainable.

And note how ‘Community’ is used again, as if it’s locals who’re going to benefit. In the WM piece I linked to earlier ‘community’ or ‘communities’ appeared no less than 5 times. Like I said, clever writing.

And before I forget, there’s yet another coastal charity with which Rosslyn Barr-Clowe is involved. Though this seems confined to Scotland, at the moment. It’s the Coastal Communities Network. And she’s been an Advisory Group Member since June 2021.

How many of these ‘coastal’ groups are there?

HIDING BEHIND YOUNG ALED

Spare a thought for young Aled, because so many depend on him and others like him, but he just thinks he’s playing on the seashore.

Immediately behind him are the left wing, Globalist, anti humanity, vegan ‘environmental’ groups and NGOs. Breaking ground for those who follow.

Used as a distraction, hoping we’ll think this is the only money involved, are the National Lottery, the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, and other donors.

Demanding credit for ‘saving the planet’, are the clowns in Corruption Bay. All they’re doing is obeying orders from above.

Slightly further back we find the investment houses, the asset managers, looking for opportunities created by those mentioned in the previous paragraphs. The real money.

Back in the shadows, often controlling the ‘investors’, you’ll discern BlackRock, Vanguard, State Street and other Globalist corporations.

At the very back, behind the curtain, setting the rules, are the supranational bodies like the UN, WEF, EU.

Thankfully, Aled is only a five-year-old boy, and his shadow isn’t big enough for all these bastards to hide in.

We see you!

Plaid Cymru Abandons Welsh Farmers

Last Saturday I put out a post on X drawing attention to something that had been said at the Plaid Cymru conference in Swansea. This piece follows on from that.

‘IT’S THEM FARMERS WOT DONE IT!’

Speaking from the main stage Alex Phillips of the WWF wanted the audience to believe that when it comes to polluting our rivers, then, “it’s beyond reasonable doubt” that it’s the fault of farmers. And only farmers.

But he’s wrong. And he knows he’s wrong. Where to start?

First, the biggest polluter of our watercourses is, in its various operations, Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. Which leads a charmed life due its ‘closeness’ to Natural Resources Wales, an agency of the self-styled ‘Welsh Government’.

This ‘closeness’ guarantees Dŵr Cymru an easy ride from the planet savers.

Second, ‘agriculture’, is a rather vague, all-encompassing, term. Possibly misleading.

Maybe he’s referring to the chicken farmers of Herefordshire, or arable farmers using chicken manure fertiliser, both polluting the Wye before it runs back into Wales.

But he can’t be referring to Welsh livestock farmers, certainly not those of the uplands.

And I’m damn sure his sweeping statement didn’t include the hippies and good lifers growing non-binary carrots on Powys county council land, often at the expense of Welsh families.

So what exactly was he talking about?

Some background might help. Alex was a ‘Special Advisor’ in the Assembly for 3 years from October 2011. After that, he was in PR for another 3 years. Then he joined the WWF in July 2017.

Here’s Alex, just a few months ago, celebrating legislation he helped push through.

To understand a bit more about the WWF, and its essentially anti-humanity agenda, go to this piece I put out last November and scroll down the section, ‘Darker Past’. Where you’ll read:

The founder and first president of the WWF was Prince Bernhardt, consort to Queen Juliana of the Netherlands. Though he himself was German and had, like many other princelings, joined the Nazi Party in 1933.

Here’s a recent example from the Congo basin of how the WWF operates. Making clear that it prioritises ‘Nature’ over people. Indigenous populations seem to be inconvenient, if not expendable.

Maybe we Welsh fall into that category.

The WWF was launched in 1961 by a body few have heard of, International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Which modestly says of itself:

Founded in 1948, IUCN has become the global authority on the status of the natural world and the measures needed to safeguard it.

I don’t think you’re supposed to know about the IUCN; it keeps a low profile, but it’s very influential.

The IUCN European Regional Office plays a key role in addressing these challenges by shaping EU policies, promoting effective regulation, and supporting conservation efforts at both national and regional levels.

The WWF was founded by Nazis, who believed in eugenics, and drastically reducing the global population by removing the “useless eaters“. A term adopted by the WEF. Whose founder, Klaus Schwab, is the son of an enthusiastic member of the Herrenvolk.

The WWF today serves a new elite; and pushes an apocalyptic message (scapegoats provided), in order to get politicians to enact legislation, and provide funding, to serve the ambitions of their Globalist masters.

HE’S RIGHT‘, SAYS PLAID CANDIDATE NERYS EVANS

The sentiments of the short speech I’ve linked to above were echoed by Nerys Evans, Plaid Cymru’s No 2 candidate for Sir Gaerfyrddin / Carmarthenshire.

Nerys has an interesting past. One that sums up devolutionary Wales perfectly. A denizen of Corruption Bay, its outliers and appurtenances; one of the in-crowd.

Let’s take a look at Nerys Evans’ Linkedin page.

Her career begins with a few years as ‘Political Officer’ (which means what, exactly?) at the Notional Assembly; then four years as an Assembly Member; followed by a job with a charity, and ‘Welsh Government’ appointments; next was Ofcom, overlapping with ACT and Portal Training (both publicly funded); then seven and a half years as non-executive director with the Farmers Union of Wales (FUW); with a job for going on 14 years with lobbyists Deryn Consulting, now Cavendish Cymru.

Every job there is either the result of political influence, or it’s one seeking to exert political influence. Either way, it makes a mockery of you going to put your cross on a bit of paper every so often.

While at Ofcom and Deryn simultaneously, there was some, er, embarrassment, when it became known that Evans, and another Deryn director advising Ofcom, Huw Roberts (Labour), had steered contracts the way of Deryn.

For this and other reasons the reputation of Labour-Plaid joint venture Deryn took a bit of a knock, and it was taken over earlier this year. But those running Deryn were kept on because their political and other contacts in Corruption Bay and beyond were priceless to the new owners.

Given the association with FUW her contribution to the WWF propaganda show was something to behold. According to Nerys Evans, ninety per cent of the pollution in our rivers is the fault of them wicked farmers.

Later, she tried to go back on what she’d said by protesting she’d meant 90% of pollution on the Wye. Which is also untrue.

But remember, this is a Plaid Cymru Senedd candidate, hoping to represent a constituency next May with many farmers; and this nonsense was spouted, not at a fringe meeting, but on the main stage at the Plaid Cymru conference.

Why did the WWF get such favoured treatment from Plaid Cymru?

Perhaps because Gareth Clubb is CEO of WWF Cymru, and he used to be CEO of Plaid Cymru. Now he also runs Community Energy Cymru (backed of course by the ‘Welsh Government’).

His Linkedin profile tells you everything.

The secretary of Community Energy Cymru is someone named Leanne Wood.

Another example of Labour-Plaid collaboration. Perhaps confirmed by this gem I found in the Articles of Association. But what the hell does it mean?

Another who was on the same stage in Swansea was Shea Buckland-Jones. From a very similar background to the others we’ve looked at. His Linkedin profile spells it out.

Have you noticed it yet? – every one of them has a background in PR and politics, charities and pressure groups.

Another issue here is that Cavendish-Deryn has the WWF as a client. This is kept secret because Wales – unlike England, Scotland, and just about everywhere else – has no register of lobbyists.

So Nerys Evans, Plaid Cymru candidate, director of Cavendish, was on stage at the Plaid Cymru conference with one of her company’s clients putting the boot into the farmers she so recently claimed to represent.

And all the while pretending she was only concerned with water quality.

FOLLOW THE MONEY

Farmers are under pressure as perhaps never before, and it can all be traced back to acceptance by politicians and others of the ‘climate crisis’ scam, and measures such as Net Zero and carbon capture that we’re told are needed to combat this contrived threat.

With more of the same in the pipeline.

But it’s not just farmers suffering. We are all paying for this insanity; through higher electricity bills, brainwashing us into changing our diets, even telling us how we’re allowed to heat our homes.

Which is why the farmers’ fight is your fight.

And many farmers feel increasingly isolated. Some have lost faith in their unions, the National Farmers Union and the Farmers Union of Wales.

They also feel abandoned by political parties, which is understandable. For as we’ve seen, there’s no real difference between Plaid Cymru and Labour. On anything.

Those who control the Uniparty know Labour is dead in the water and something else is needed to challenge Reform. In Wales, that ‘something’ is Plaid Cymru. Talk of independence would frighten off many voters, so Plaid’s leaders were told to drop it.

Another feature that needs highlighting is the funding of the charities and pressure groups that leftist politicians use to justify the legislation they implement. A system we now see being exposed in the USA.

Over here, for example, funding from the National Lottery, especially the Heritage Lottery Fund, is openly political. But the same can be said for major private funders.

One of which would be the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. Which has clearly been captured. Just look at some the recipients here of big sums. Check out all the grants.

‘FFCC’ is the Food, Farming and Countryside Commission. One of a regiment of such bodies, and very influential in Wales. Regularly quoted by the FFCC is Derek Walker, Future Generations Commissioner for Wales. Just check his CV.

Also mentioned on the FFCC website is Hywel Morgan, who appears regularly on the ‘Welsh Government’ website Farming Connect.

Another faux ‘farmers’ organisation, with too much influence on the ‘Welsh Government’, and of course funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, is the Nature Friendly Farming Network.

If you think of Welsh farming as a sinking ship (as some wish), then there are voices in the murk calling out: “You can swim to the lifeboat“. Farming Connect is such a ‘lifeboat’, and some, like Hywel Morgan, have clambered aboard.

Because it’s not outright confrontation, there’s also stick and carrot. Which is an attempt to set farmers against each other.

ALL IS NOT LOST

It’s easy to get downhearted when you look at the forces ranged against us.

At the top we have the UN, with its Agenda 2030, supported by other supranational bodies like the WEF, EU (Commission); together, these fund and / or influence a host of international charities and pressure groups that then convey the instructions to governments at national and sub-national level.

And because they’re charities, and ‘cuddly’ groups like WWF, it makes the message more acceptable, and disguises its origin.

It’s all top down, without a democratic mandate. Because no electorate was ever consulted about Net Zero except in the vaguest and most misleading terms: ‘You don’t want to destroy the planet, do you?

And it’s the same with open borders: ‘Will you allow thousands of women and children to be butchered in ———, or should we welcome refugees?’

In both cases, utterly dishonest. Because the results people have to live with bear no relation to the deceits that sought popular support.

And profiting behind the scenes are the Globalist corporations such as BlackRock, Vanguard, and oligarchs like increasingly megalomaniac Bill Gates.

You know how powerful and influential these men are when you recall that a year ago, Gates and BlackRock CEO Larry Fink were over giving Starmer his orders.

Larry Fink even sat in on a cabinet meeting!

The Uniparties the Globalists control in various countries perform like a chorus, and when anyone sings a different tune they’re vilified by the mainstream media.

Here in Wales, the Uniparty is made up of Labour, Plaid Cymru, Conservatives (until they fall apart), Greens and Lib Dems. It doesn’t matter which of these parties you vote for, you’ll be voting for the Globalist agenda.

But thankfully, there is an alternative. Councillor Gwyn Wigley Evans, party leader, has this to say: “Gwlad understands the need for farmers to produce food and keep the countryside a safe and thriving community, join us“.

I can extend that invitation to anyone fed up with lies from Uniparty politicians and insults from Globalist shills. You deserve better.

So check out the new Gwlad manifesto today. We don’t promise you the Earth because it’s not ours to give, or to take. But we do promise to fight for the earth and the soil that belongs to you, and to nobody else.

Bute Energy And Others, A Round-up

I haven’t devoted a full piece to Bute Energy and the rest since August last year. Which is somewhat remiss, seeing as the plans are ongoing and causing great concern to communities across the land.

That said, maybe this offering is directed more at the general reader than those who follow Bute’s activities closely, or are involved with a particular campaign group, of which there are perhaps too many. (More on this later.)

Though I’ve had a gutsful of Bute and the other eco-scammers who’ve taken up more space on this blog than the diamond geezers and career criminals.

Yet they’re lauded in the media, have politicians in their back pocket, and the red carpet is rolled out for these exploitative interlopers.

INTRO, RECAP

After a visit to the cellar, dusting off a few files, I think I’ve found my first reference to Bute. It was back in November 2018. In the piece, Corruption in the wind?

Though Bute first appeared via a connection with someone I’d already written about.

This pathfinder was Steven Radford. He was fronting for a major player named U + I in three wind farm projects: Bryn Blaen, near Llangurig; Rhoscrowther, down on the Haven; and Hendy, a few miles from Llandrindod.

U + I was soon taken over by Landsec; big shareholders in Landsec are BlackRock, Vanguard, Legal & General, Jupiter Asset Management.

In that November 2018 piece I wrote:

In September Radford branched out again with Bute Energy Ltd . . . in the electricity business, the production, transmission, distribution and trade of electricity to be exact.

What I didn’t know at the time was that the boys of Bute had all come from property company Parabola. And that the lead director of Bute, Oliver James Millican, is the son of Parabola boss, Peter John Millican.

The other Bute principals we’ve come to know are: Lawson Douglas Steele and Stuart Allan George. Barry Woods was a fourth departure from Parabola in November 2017. But Woods parted company with the others in September 2019.

Another name that crops up is John Reilly. Like those just named (apart from Millican) he has a company named Windward’ followed by his initials. I can’t be sure if Reilly worked for Parabola, but he is now Project Manager for Bute. Like the others, he lives in Scotland.

These ‘personal’ companies all saw a massive boost in their values recently.

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

These figures might be accounted for by a payout from Grayling Capital LLP, which dissolved around that time. For Millican, Steele and George were Designated Members, and Reilly a Member. Another Member had been SuperSpAd and ‘Welsh’ Labour insider David James Taylor. (Mentioned a few times on this site.)

UPDATE: More plausibly, the windfall is explained here.

But that only throws up another question – where did the money come from that went into Grayling Capital?

Whatever the answer, that’s a lot of money for a group that has yet to put up a single turbine. Ask yourself, how does that ten grand for your village hall from a developer’s ‘community fund’ compare to sums like these?

Taylor also did well for himself. The clip below is from the accounts of Taylor’s company Moblake Ltd. A liquidator was appointed in April 2022 and Taylor rode off into the sunset with the 600k in his saddlebags.

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

The ultimate holding company for all the Bute entities is Windward Global Ltd. The sole director is Millican Jnr. The company was formed in May 2017 as DMWSL 864 Ltd and changed its name six months later, at the exact same time we are expected to believe the boss’s son and his mates turned their backs on Parabola.

Somehow, the Parabola-Bute crew made contact with Radford. Who joined Bute Energy Ltd in September 2018, less than a week after Oliver Millican. (The company changed its name to RSCO 3750 Ltd and folded in September 2023.)

How was this contact made? Why did Parabola turn its attention to wind turbines? And to Wales?

PARABOLA-BUTE DISCOVERS WALES

But how did they ‘discover’ Wales? Were there introductions? To answer these questions I’ll begin with something substantive before flying a kite.

In the first piece, of November 2018, you’d have read a section – ‘Mystery Woman’ – in which I identified Anna McMorrin as a lobbyist for Hendy wind farm. She was then a Labour insider shacked up with a minister in the ‘Welsh Government’, and she went on to become the MP for Cardiff North in the June 2017 general election.

Seventeen months after McMorrin’s performance before Powys councillors, Steven Radford of Hendy wind farm teamed up with Parabola-Bute.

This pattern of Labour party involvement (ahem!) has been repeated in subsequent years. Most recently with Sophie Howe, former Future Generations Commissioner for Wales, who became a director of the new Bute Energy Ltd last month. (It switched names with RSCO 3750 Ltd.)

Labour party troughing is covered in many other posts on this site.

So we have the Labour party helping windfarm developers, but that doesn’t establish a connection for Radford with Millican and his pals. Yet people I’ve spoken with recently are convinced the key lies with Radford and Hendy Wind Farm Ltd.

And what a story of political corruption that was; done to help a project meet an OFGEN funding deadline, with one hurriedly erected turbine – that has never turned!

But even if Hendy is the key, that still doesn’t explain how Radford and the Bute gang met each other.

Here’s one possibility . . .

McMorrin was working for a company, Invicta Public Affairs, with branches in Glasgow and London, but its registered office is on the Gallowgate, not far from St James’ Park in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Parabola, despite having offices in Edinburgh and London, began life in Newcastle and still maintains a presence in a building it redeveloped near the Central Station.

I admit the Geordie connection is tenuous; yet while the Labour party link to both Radford and Bute is established, there is still no evidence it was the comrades who brought them together.

Though the Labour party is now so enmeshed with Parabola-Bute it might soon be difficult to disentangle them. What with individual party members involved and then the council pension fund investment. (Controlled by BlackRock.)

Plaid Cymru is also getting in on the climate scam. Sorry! that should read: saving the planet for future generations. In the form of an obscure Plaid loyalist from Ynys Môn named Carmen Smith.

After dabbling in student politics, working for politicos and leftist groups, Smith was given a made-up job with Bute in October 2023 – Advisor on Youth Governance! Her employer is named as Windward Global, the ultimate holding company for the Bute empire.

Next, she made it to the House of Lords when Plaid needed to replace retiring Lord Wigley. The election process was rigged in order to ignore members’ choice of former MP Elfyn Llwyd.

These shenanigans now give Bute a presence in the House of Lords.

KLINGON AND A POSSIBLE RESTORATION TRAGEDY

As is often the case with planning permission – and perhaps especially in Wales – what is originally given consent is often very different to what is eventually built. ‘Changes’ and ‘modifications’ are made, which may or may not go through the planning process.

In the case of Bute Energy these now include, “bigger blades, higher substations, to cracking on before approval of any restoration plans. The local authorities, who told PEDW they have no resources to oversee any planning conditions, appear to be rubber stamping things“.

Never was rubber stamping more obvious than with this amendment submitted by Bute to Caerphilly council regarding Twyn Hywel wind farm. Fortunately, the council accepts correspondence in English, Welsh, and Klingon.

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

For it was indeed accepted.

In the quote I used just now you’ll have seen a reference to “restoration plans“. So let me explain what this is about.

After certain opencast mines came to the end of their working lives in southern Wales it was expected that the companies involved would – as promised – restore the sites to something close to their original state.

But, alas, when the time came for the restoration to begin – the companies involved had relocated to offshore tax havens.

In 2010, a company called Celtic Energy sold its opencast coalmines – with its restoration liabilities – for £1 apiece to a series of shell companies it had set up in the British Virgin Islands. Then the senior executives walked away with millions.

To avoid something similar happening with windfarms a number of people have submitted FoI requests to the ‘Welsh Government’ about site restoration, but I’ve yet to see a response that satisfies anyone.

UPDATE 02.10.2025: Here’s an example that I’ve just received from a reader. Natural Resources Wales says they can’t tell how much they demand for wind farm site restoration, because “this information is commercially sensitive“.

It’s now being suggested that wind turbines in Wales have an operational lifespan of 50 years. Below is a clip from Google AI, and here’s a link to a piece in Solar Power Portal which says, “Manmoel Wind will have an operational life span of 50 years“.

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

Obviously, no turbine lasts 50 years. A turbine is lucky to make 20, or 25. So people who’ve seen that 50 year figure assume the turbines will be replaced at some stage.

Yet the extended lifespan claim appears again in this response from Bute to a question from a concerned local resident:

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

Quite frankly, I believe that ten years from now few new (or replacement) turbines will be going up. People are no longer listening to the Swedish doom goblin and her Globalist masters. Reality is kicking in.

So the question remains: with the bubble soon to burst, why are turbines going up today, or tomorrow, being given operational lifespans of 40 or 50 years?

Could it be because developers have an arrangement with politicians and planners that restoration of a site begins when the agreed operational lifespan is up? Even if the turbines had long ago stopped working. Or had even been removed?

My belief is that restoration costs should be paid up front, before a single turbine is erected, and the money ring-fenced so politicians can’t get their grubby paws on it. Furthermore, the restoration costs must not be limited to the visual. There must be enough money deposited to pay for the removal and disposal of the vast concrete bases in which every turbine stands.

Questions need to be asked about this extended operational lifespan. And whether it will be linked with site restoration.

UPDATE 12.10.2025: I should add that being ‘imaginative’ with a project’s lifespan might encourage hesitant investors. And it will be used by politicians spouting ‘future generations’ bollocks to grant planning permission.

THE PYLON RUNS

Clearly, the hundreds of wind turbines planned for remote upland areas of Wales are a long way from the eventual consumers in England. For that’s where it’s going. (Ignore bullshit like, “powering seven million Welsh homes“.)

Below you’ll see two maps that I hope will help explain the position.

On the left is a map produced by the ‘Welsh Government’ in its Future Wales The National Plan 2040 (update), showing the designated areas for wind power. On the right, a map produced by CPRW (here), adding areas for solar power and associated infrastructure including pylon routes.

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

Because, clearly, there will be a need for pylons and overhead power lines to run from the windfarms to where they can connect with the grid. Though in environmentally sensitive (or politically favoured) sections the cabling might be underground.

In the southern half of the country this means a run from around Aberedw, east of Llandrindod, down to Builth, and then down Dyffryn Tywi to Llandyfaelog, south of Carmarthen. The other southern line runs from the wild country east of Lampeter – projects I covered in this piece – following the Teifi before branching off south from somewhere near Llandysul.

In the northern section, the run starts near Llangurig, then runs north before turning north east to its destination at Lower Frankton in Shropshire. Though for some reason we were originally told it ended in ‘Chirk’.

Perhaps we were supposed to think it would supply Wrecsam and Deeside.

This simple map of the grid in Wales will also help as it shows most of the turbines planned are going up in areas a long way from that grid.

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

Most electricity in Wales is generated by Pembroke power station in the far south west. The line then runs east, supplying much of the urban south, before taking power over the border.

The loop in the north is, I suspect, accounted for by the decommissioned nuclear power stations at Wylfa and Trawsfynydd.

Let’s conclude this section by focusing on an area just mentioned, Twm Siôn Cati country. There’s a very active group opposing the three projects we’ve heard about (there may be more to come), and there was a public meeting last month.

Here’s a report from the Western Mail. Here in pdf format.

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

The meeting was held in Pumsaint because, as I explained in the piece I linked to earlier, the blades and turbines will need to be transported from Pumsaint up country, and over the 2,500 acres of the National Trust’s Dolaucothi estate.

For some reason the NT is coy about giving out information about its involvement with wind farm developers.

To add to the air of mystery, I’m informed that prior to the Pumsaint meeting local Plaid worthies met with Bute representatives at the Falcondale Hotel, just a mile or so north east of Lampeter. Is this true?

If so, what did they discuss? More peerages?

ODDS AND ENDS

I’ve been writing about wind farms for so long, and more keep appearing, that I was almost on the point of giving up. But like I say, as truth dawns, and the costs mount, the bubble will eventually burst.

So I’ll stick with it, and give a few random thoughts. First, something that’s been a stone in my shoe for a while. Maybe someone out there can help.

It’s a company called Storagefolk Ltd. The sole director is Oliver Millican, and ownership traces back to super holding company Windward Global, where all the shares are owned by Millican.

Now, this company was formed September 2017; it seems to do nothing, yet it’s kept alive, so I must assume there’s a reason for its existence. But what?

Answers on a postcard . . .

Returning to electricity transmission . . . in a belated attempt to salvage its reputation the self-styled ‘Welsh Government’ set up Trydan Gwyrdd Cymru. Which, to date, has achieved virtually nothing beyond virtue signalling.

And of course, costing us money.

Those clowns in Corruption Bay had over two decades to ensure that, if we had no alternative but to participate, that at least Wales benefitted from this climate scam. But they did nothing beyond pimping Wales out to any green con artists who slunk into view.

Bute has also set up a distribution company, Green Gen Cymru (GGC). Which is planning the pylon runs we looked at earlier. Though this is a joint venture with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, a major funder for Bute.

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

The GCC chairman is Bleddyn Phillips, former chairman of London Welsh Rugby Club, who worked in Russia when his wife, Dame Anne Pringle, was ambassador.

For many year Phillips was Global Head of Oil and Gas for multinational lawyers Clifford Chance LLP. These are not the kind of lawyers you go to if Plod arrests you for hurty words on X. We are talking big, big money here. Billions.

Consequently, Phillips must know many wealthy investors in the energy field from his globetrotting days. I wonder if any of them are interested in Green Gen Cymru?

CONCLUSION

I don’t wish to name groups or individuals, but I believe the fight against these various – but linked – plans is too fragmented. A certain level of unity is needed. Or at the very least, co-operation.

Yet it must also be kept local.

By which I mean, involve local people, farmers and others with a stake in the country. At all costs avoid creating the impression that the only people opposing wind turbines and pylons are well-heeled nimbys who’ve moved into the area.

Selfish buggers who are now, “denying locals thousands of well-paid jobs“.

Because that’s the kind of lie those opposing you – politicians and ‘developers’ – will use to divide and discredit you.

And finally, don’t trust political parties that support Net Zero, wind farms and all the rest. Politicians with constituencies or council areas threatened by the projects of Bute and others are in trouble, and they know it.

So they’re trying to ride two horses. But only succeeding in coming across as more two-faced than usual. It is not a pretty sight.

Say, “Thank you very much for your kind offer of advice and assistance” – then help them through the door. Whether you open the door is entirely up to you.

Why I’m Putting Independence On Hold

I’m still waiting for information promised on a matter I’ve written about recently and so, until it reaches me, I’m going to take an opportunity to clarify my position on Welsh independence.

BACKGROUND

I have always believed in Welsh independence. I will always believe in Welsh independence. This is an article of faith, beyond debate.

I want independence for my people, my country, so we can take our place among the nations of Europe and the world. I want us to be able to be ourselves and fulfil our potential. Something denied us for too long.

I see no inherent problem with capitalism; I simply want it to work for Wales and my people. The last thing I want is a socialist shit-hole such as those I’ve seen rise and collapse around the world in my lifetime.

We are a long way from my dream, not because Wales is less likely to become independent, but because the independence movement, in its widest sense, has been subverted into serving other agendas, and corrupted into offering a vision of independence that I reject.

So let me explain my position.

THE ENEMY WITHIN

A good place to start would be 1966, with the Civil Rights movement in the USA, and anti-Vietnam War protests building on both sides of the Atlantic. Students rioting across Europe. Bombs and protests in Wales over the exploitation of our water resources, the approaching Investiture, and language rights.

With the avoidable tragedy of Aberfan further influencing the national mood.

This year saw the birth of the Cloward-Piven strategy, a plan to overload and collapse a system from within, then step in with the ‘answers’ to the problems you’ve created.

It’s an old playbook.

Hitler sent his Brownshirts onto the streets of German towns and cities to brawl with political opponents and create mayhem – then argue that the only way to restore law and order was by voting for the party of the Brownshirts!

The ‘threat’ Globalists invented is ‘climate crisis’. A scam used to de-industrialise and impoverish Western countries, to impose behavioural changes, and then, when the countries that implemented the policies start collapsing – step in and take over!

To further the objective of societal collapse Globalists have funded and promoted Wokism, while also flooding the target countries with unassimilable numbers of young men who will be protected and encouraged in their criminality and general behaviour by the two-tier judicial system administered by officials, bureaucrats, and judges.

These will either be converts to the Globalist vision, or they’ll already be working to a very similar agenda. Similar enough to allow for co-operation.

For example, societal collapse is also the aim of the ‘Communism by stealth’ Fabians, who control the UK Labour party, and whose members are in positions of power throughout the state apparatus.

Before going further, let me make clear that the ‘Globalists’ I’m talking about are the UN (and WHO), the WEF, the EU (especially the unelected Commission headed by Ursula von der Leyen), and various multi-billionaires and global corporations (especially ‘asset managers’ like BlackRock and Vanguard).

They want a One World Government and global control of humanity. Though they tend to focus on the West, the ‘advanced nations’, the white Christian nations.

The wolf in sheep’s clothing was the original badge of the Fabian Society. Which says it all.

They call what they promote ‘stakeholder capitalism’ . . . but you won’t have a stake.

To achieve their objective they capture political establishments and state mechanisms, academia, media; they undermine public morale and weaken the sense of nationhood, attack the nuclear family, then recruit and promote anything that might help them achieve their aims.

And they lie endlessly. Take ‘Diversity Equity Inclusion’ (DEI).

Designed to discriminate against white people and, by recruiting people unfit to do the jobs they’ve given, lower standards across the board, and by that route damage Western societies.

With the resentment and division created ticking another Globalist box.

And DEI is a cure for yet another invented threat – ‘toxic masculinity’.

Once you understand the desired result and the methodology, then everything else makes sense. For example, BlackRock and others wants to monetise and profit from the natural world; trees, the air we breathe, and the ground beneath our feet.

For which they need land.

But there is an obvious obstacle to the fulfilment of the plan – most land in Europe belongs to farmers. So farmers must be portrayed as planet-destroying villains from whom it’s justifiable to take the land in order to improve ‘biodiversity’ and to ‘decarbonise’ our rancid atmosphere.

BlackRock makes billions from ‘saving the planet’. Your taxes funding the schemes and subsidies from which BlackRock benefits is your stake in the New World Order. Check out this X post to get the gist of BlackRock’s approach to finding new assets to profit from. Or just scroll down to the video.

At ground level, the war on farming is waged by the Globalists’ auxiliaries in the environmental movement, who will be given some of the stolen land to indulge their ‘rewilding’ fantasies.

And once agriculture is destroyed the Globalists will not only own the land, they’ll also control the food supply.

This is where we are, and it partly explains how we got here.

AN UNHOLY ALLIANCE

Many of you will wonder how Globalist capitalism can work hand-in-hand with those wanting to impose Communism or socialism. The answer lies in China. Political and social control will be in the hands of the political class, with entrepreneurs and others given almost free rein to make money.

It’s a trade-off.

It’s worth remembering that Klaus Schwab, founder, and until very recently, head of the World Economic Forum, is on record as saying:

. . . the Chinese model is certainly a very attractive model for quite a number of countries.

Though that still leaves the third element of the troika undermining the West – Islam.

There’s no question that Globalists and their socialist allies, whether Fabians operating in the shadows or attention-seeking Greenhairs, see Islam as a vital ally in their assault on the West. This explains unlimited immigration and a two-tier judicial system.

Premier Xi of China and Klaus Schwab of the WEF. Click to open enlarged in separate tab

But two totalitarian systems like socialism and Islam can only co-operate in opposition to a perceived common enemy. That ‘enemy’ is the rest of us.

Which in turn explains why middle-aged and elderly women, concerned for their daughters and grand-daughters, can be compared by journalists and politicians to goose-stepping stormtroopers.

At some point in the near future, the Globalists will try to introduce Digital ID, and it will be sold as the remedy for illegal immigration, crime, perhaps even baldness.

Tony – “Weapons of mass destruction” – Blair, a Fabian, has long been a fan of ID. Here’s a clip from the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change website.

And for a while it’ll work. Massive publicity will be given to a few dozen illegal migrants and foreign criminals being deported.

But Digital ID is just the foot in the door. Once the door is pushed open UBI, facial recognition, CBDC, climate lockdowns, blanket censorship, loss of private transport, etc., etc., will follow.

And once it’s in place, we’re trapped.

To end this section, I’ll remind you Globalism is deeply anti-human, with nothing but contempt for the vast majority of us. We are now surplus to requirements, and therefore expendable.

One of the foremost early Fabians was George Bernard Shaw, the (Ascendancy) Irish playwright and author. Here’s what Encyclopedia Britannica has to say:

He became . . . the force behind the newly founded (1884) Fabian Society, a middle-class socialist group that aimed at the transformation of English society not through revolution but through “permeation” (in Sidney Webb’s term) of the country’s intellectual and political life.

Now Shaw was a big fan of eugenics, of keeping the gene pool clean and healthy by killing off those who failed to meet certain standards.

Many people think Hitler invented this sort of thing, but Adolf gets a bad rap here. Eugenics was practised by liberal Western democracies before he came along. It only fell out of favour because of Hitler.

That said, Shaw the Fabian was a big fan of Hitler. And Mussolini.

Here’s GBS talking about “useless people“.

Make no mistake . . . Fabians are elitists who believe they’re too clever to be constrained by democracy, or the moral standards of most decent people. Being above the common herd means they can rule the rest of us whether we consent or not.

And as there are too many of us, we must be culled . . . to save the planet.

GROUNDS FOR OPTIMISM

The Trump administration has thrown a big spanner in the Globalist works. For it’s dismantling the Deep State, cleansing the FBI and the CIA, ensuring fair elections, defunding the NGO’s that push the Globalist message, exposing Big Pharma (that gave us vaccines more damaging than Covid itself), and daily ridiculing the Globalist-controlled media for its lies and double standards.

And Trump himself has correctly dismissed the ‘climate crisis’ as a “scam”.

Leaving the Globalists with Europe. But even here their grip is shaky.

The government in France has just fallen, with Marine Le Pen’s party leading in the polls. In Germany, AfD is also ahead in the polls. Though in the run-up to the election in North Rhine-Westphalia (pop 18m), this coming Sunday, no fewer than seven AfD candidates and reserve candidates have died suddenly.

Alternative for Deutschland co-leader Alice Weidel amplified speculation when she reposted economist Stefan Homburg’s comment that the number of candidate deaths was “statistically impossible,” the BBC reported.

And how long before Starmer decides he wants to spend more time with his Ukrainian rent boys?

There is restlessness elsewhere in the EU. In the east, Hungary no longer obeys the EU Commission; Poland refuses mass immigration, and other countries in the region, such as Slovakia and Bulgaria, are becoming very sceptical of the ‘European project’.

While in Ireland, MMA fighter Conor Macgregor may be the people’s choice for president (a largely ceremonial role), but might be shut out by a political system designed to protect and promote itself rather than serve democracy.

The other great obstacle to the success of the Globalist power and property grab is of course Russia.

As part of the deal to overlook the corruption and the Nazism, and to prepare Ukraine for war, the country had to ‘open up’ to foreign investment. And while foreigners may not own farmland directly, foreign interests own many of the oligarchs and corrupt politicians in whose names the land is held.

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

There will be massive profits to be made from ‘restructuring’ what’s left of post-war Ukraine. And it’ll be Globalist corporations making those profits. In the same way that Halliburton and other well-connected outfits profited from rebuilding Iraq and Afghanistan.

The problem for the Globalists with Ukraine is that much of the land they’ve bought or invested in through proxies will be under Russian control. Which explains why Zelensky has been stopped from signing agreements that could have brought the slaughter to an end.

Ukraine must carry on fighting.

And it’s why BoJo flew to Kiev in April 2022.

Multiple insider accounts and published interviews suggest that during his trip to Kyiv on 10 April 2022, Johnson may have actively dissuaded Zelensky from pursuing negotiations with Russia at that critical time.

The Globalists may want the EU and NATO to keep the Ukraine regime standing, but their wet dream is war with Russia. Because it’s a win-win.

If Russia loses they’ll be able to plunder its vast untapped resources. But even if Russia wins, they still get the reconstruction contracts.

It’s one hell of a business model!

WHY I’M PUTTING INDEPENDENCE ON HOLD

The West is facing a bigger threat today than at any time in the past. Those I’ve written about are already telling us what to think, what we’re allowed to say.

In their upside-down world truth becomes a ‘conspiracy theory’, or ‘misinformation’, or ‘disinformation’.

Promoting this agenda has resulted in modern leftists becoming quixotic, and divorced from reality; fighting imaginary enemies and supporting absurd ’causes’.

Backed by a political establishment – and here I mean all parties – that’s failed Wales completely in 26 years of devolution. We have no economy to speak of, the NHS is collapsing, and our children may not be able to read and write but they’ve been brainwashed into believing there are 96 genders.

To give more power to such dangerous clowns would see Wales rejoin the corrupt and declining EU, declare war on Israel (perhaps also Russia), arm Antifa, and open the borders to every murderer, money launderer, drug pusher and rapist who could satisfy them he had little white blood polluting his oppressed system.

Until those who’ve swallowed the Globalist-Woke nonsense come to their senses, until the spell is broken and sanity returns to the West, then this old ‘flagshagger’ believes independence for Wales would be disastrous.

Until the war on the West and its peoples ends we must bide our time. Remember that Cervantes’ classic concludes with Don Quixote renouncing his delusions.

‘Farming’ – The Globalist Way!

Let me stress that the blog is not back, as such, not up and running as in days of yore. I’m just putting out the occasional piece.

This one because it complements last week’s offering about Globalists who dreamed up the ‘climate crisis’ now profiting from measures introduced to combat that fantasy.

And as with last week’s piece, we’ll see asset management funds, fund managers and the rest, staying in the background, operating through intermediaries.

WHERE WE AT?

The farm in question is Rhos-farch, above Pennal. South-facing land overlooking the Dyfi and rising up to Tarren Hendre, the highest point in the immediate area (633m), shown in pink on the maps below.

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

The consensus is that the farm’s been bought by Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust. There’s even a suggestion it’s been “gifted“.

Either way, the rumours talk of money provided by Aviva, the insurance company, which often fronts for BlackRock; which uses bodies like WWF, and Wildlife Trusts, to disguise the origin of the funding.

Nothing surprising there, because Aviva is working with other wildlife trusts in Wales, sometimes as part of the temperate rainforests restoration project.

Here’s estate agent Savills’ information for Rhos-farch. We see it covers 625 acres, and the asking price is £3,500,000. The property offers . . .

Diverse leisure, sporting, tree planting and environmental opportunities.

Strangely, there’s no mention of farming.

A1 Overview suggests the farm has done well from ‘Welsh Government’ or Natural Resources Wales funding over the past decade.

The farm participates in Welsh Government schemes like the Woodland Creation and Woodland Restoration Schemes.

Farmers Weekly hints at further goodies available from tree planting.

The woodland includes coniferous and deciduous varieties and there is potential for further planting as identified by a recent feasibility survey carried out by Natural Resources Wales.

Though I’m struggling with this because the FW article is dated February 6, 2024, while what I assume to be the relevant document, the Machynlleth Forest Resource Plan, wasn’t approved until April.

Did somebody have a crystal ball?

The reference further confused by the fact Rhos-farch doesn’t seem to figure in the maps provided in the document.

OTHERS INVOLVED

Scrolling down the estate agent’s literature we see that the solicitor listed (presumably acting for the vendor) is Agri Advisor. A Welsh company that’s expanded considerably in recent years, and now has branches everywhere.

There’s no branch in Cardiff itself, but there is one at Henstaff Court, just off the M4, south of Creigiau.

In cases like this, I like to get my bearings, but in this case Google Maps couldn’t take me beyond the entrance. Yet what I saw there was intriguing.

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

Now you’re wondering why I highlighted the names of Agri Advisor and RSK ADAS.

Some may remember that RSK ADAS has appeared on this blog before. First, in Snake Oil And Land Grabs (December 2023), then More From Ireland Moor (October 2024).

In the first piece linked to, I said:

Tracing the ownership of RSK ADAS eventually gets us to Los Angeles and “global alternative investment manager” the Ares Management Corporation. You may not be surprised to learn that among the largest of Ares’ shareholders we find both BlackRock and Vanguard.

Agri Advisor and RSK ADAS being on the same board could be pure coincidence. But there are already too many worrying linkages and connections in this story to allow for any more coincidences.

Agri Advisor presents itself as the friend of the farmer, run by solicitors from Welsh-speaking farming families, a pukka Welsh organisation. Yet I have some doubts.

I feel it’s got increasingly close to the ‘Welsh Government, perhaps through Farming Connect, the state-run body for ‘good’ farmers.

Another source of confusion is the website, which has the company “Established in 2011“. But Companies House says Agri Advisor Ltd was formed in February 2013, Agri Advisor Holdings Ltd in May 2015, and Agri Advisor Legal LLP in February 2016.

The first two have always filed as dormant, the LLP is the operational company.

Then there’s the fact that AA has worked with wind farm companies. One I’m sure of is Belltower of Bristol, where the ownership trail takes us back to Foresight Group Holdings Ltd of Guernsey.

And if the name ‘Foresight’ rings a bell, it’s because this outfit has been buying up Welsh farms for distant investors to greenwash away their sins by planting trees.

Foresight is well in with the ‘Welsh Government’, and is no longer limiting its activities to wind turbines and trees. Its new Cardiff office seems to be run by former Development Bank of Wales staff.

So maybe Agri Advisors is now telling farmers they have to ‘adapt’, to give up land for renewables, ‘carbon capture’, rewilding, and all the other bollocks that serve no purpose except to further enrich the Globalists who dreamed up the ‘climate crisis’ scam.

All in all, it increasingly looks as if Agri Advisor is running with the hares and hunting with the hounds.

To conclude. Rhos-farch has either been bought by the Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust with money from Aviva, Foresight, or possibly the ‘Welsh Government’; or it’s been bought by one of these and handed over, with strings, to the Trust.

Could we be looking at another Gilestone?

CONCERNS

Rhos-farch has been sold by a couple I won’t name, but I cannot ignore the fact that the wife is a very senior civil servant with the ‘Welsh Government’.

I might have ignored her if she was in education, health, transport, or some other area, but here’s a clip from her Linkedin profile.

Click to open enlarged in separate tab

And then I found this, referring to the husband:

. . . before acquiring his own holding and further acreage, taking his holding to 1200 acres, increasing the sheep and suckler cow numbers along with diversifying into tourism, letting residential properties and renewable energy and timber production.

This all refers to land and property in Montgomeryshire, not to Rhos-farch.

After reading it I was drawn back to what Savills said in its sales blurb:

The current woodland is within both a Woodland Creation Scheme and Woodland Restoration Scheme regulated by Natural Resources Wales and with a number of years remaining on the contracts.

The unavoidable question is: have this couple’s land holdings and other assets benefitted from ‘Welsh Government’ decisions with which the wife was involved?

SOCIALISM AND FARMING

Socialists have been hostile towards farmers since the Tolpuddle Martyrs were shipped off to Oz in 1834, and it was reinforced a century later by Stalin’s war on the kulaks for starving the workers and peasants. (Famine that had nothing to do with ‘Uncle Joe’ and collectivisation.)

When such attitudes became passé after the fall of Communism, socialists’ animus was revived by the Globalists and their buddies in various supranational bodies inventing the ‘climate crisis’. This also gave the Left a new excuse to target another old foe – capitalism.

But while many of the bruvvers still thought in terms of the caricature capitalist with top hat, big cigar, and dark satanic mills, the twenty-first century variety makes nothing, and is in fact pulling their strings.

And so the comrades’ new crusade was to save a planet being destroyed by farting cows and people who make things. In other words – destroy agriculture and de-industrialise the West. The Globalist agenda.

Which results in the industry with the highest percentage of Welsh speakers, the ‘glue’ holding together many rural communities, being destroyed by lying bastards who claim they want a million Welsh speakers by 2050.

AND FINALLY . . .

To understand how Globalism operates, look no further than the UK Online Safety Act. Said to be protecting children from online harm but, in reality, censoring views that challenge or expose the Globalist agenda.

Globalist greed, and the desire to control, is filtered through captured politicians and a bought media, and either hides behind a ‘Who-could-object-to-that?‘ smokescreen, or else is premised on a lie.

On the plus side . . . the Globalist project is faltering; its Leftist and Muslim foot-soldiers are seen for what they are, its liberal useful idiots are ridiculed, Woke is dying, and no one is going to fight WWIII for Zelensky and his crooked friends.

Reducing the Globalists to open, blanket censorship and ever more obvious lies.

All-out confrontation can’t be far away.
