Eric Pickles worries about a few tens of thousands of Bulgarians and Romanians moving to a country of 60 million people and this is perfectly acceptable, even ‘responsible’. But when we Welsh raise the issue of being outnumbered by English colonists in our country we are ‘bigots’, ‘racists’. Even called these names by the ‘Welsh’ media. What hypocrites we are up against!

Racist has been used so much, it’s losing its cool. Watch out for the latest post-Savile watershed “let’s protect the kids” meme. Deny global warming and you’re worse than Gary Glitter … you’re abusing millions of kids condemned to live in a burnt-out planet. It’ll be used against Wales, see the poor Ceredigion kids wetting themselves because those hateful Welshies wouldn’t let them go to the ty bach. Expect more of this. It’s only those lovely Guardinista types who really care about the children you know.
You’re right of course, double standards, and a lot of it is rank opportunism, playing to the crowd. Who can forget Gordon Brown’s “British jobs for British workers” which he knew was impossible under EU law. An example of the contempt the Labour party has for its own voters. Tell ’em anything, they’ll believe it.
At the same time if we believe that Wales is a nation and has the right to control its own borders, then its a right that the English nation should also be able to exercise.
No doubt the current Mail/Telegraph campaign against all things Welsh shows that old style Tory unionism still has a bit of life left in it but I believe a greater danger comes from the right-on, multi-culturalist, “left”. In reality these people are totalitarian in their mind-set. They pose as liberals but want to shut down debate. They claim to be of the left but only show contempt for the working class. They believe themselves to be democrats but in reality they’re control freaks who want to manage populations which they arrogantly believe are incapable of managing their own lives.
Too many true liberals and socialists and nationalists have been cowed into silence by these fascists in liberal clothing. Typically, i don’t doubt that such types were behind the shutting down your old blog, it’s good to have you back.
