Saw your tweet about appointments at WRU. Cardiff Bay regime are at arms length – an arm a bit longer than the distance from the waterside to the stadium but it is quite evident that appointments will be in keeping with the soft bureaucratic vision that inhabits an awful lot of British institutions. It’s about enabling top tiers to fill their boots, evade accountability by use of increasingly opaque phrases, and ticking umpteen boxes by making sure there’s a few token women, ethnics, and in due course even trannies to keep the puppet masters happy. We will not win many more rugby matches but get a good few prizes for being a class leading daft institution. A few good thrashings in early 2025 might shake the paying public out of their stupor and deny funds for this crazy outfit. We shall see. In the meantime I’m backing a few nations who are serious about trying their best like Argentina, Italy, Samoa Tonga and most others far from these shores. In rugby league if you ever get a chance watch Papua New Guinea. A bunch of blokes with no inhibitions about how they play the game.

Thank you. And thank you for all the work and dedication you put into informing us of all the squandering of tax payers money that goes on behind our backs in Cardiff.

You scratch a lot deeper than most others. Haven’t found anyone with such a capacity for finding the threads and following them back to their murky sources. Diolch o galon a Nadolig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda Llewyrchus
