As I’ve pointed out ad nauseum, that was the socialism I grew up with.

I have been and probably remain further to the “left” than that Wanchor Starmer has ever been. However my socialism was all about creating and maintaining a fair society where people could gain education, stay healthy or get medical services swiftly, get a decent paid job with a modicum of security and a bit of a safety net if it didn’t work out for a while. Instead we have a social security system which is a lifestyle choice for many and a magnet for a significant segment of those who choose to make a hazardous trip to the UK. We have an industrial landscape that has been destabilised or destroyed thus eradicating the job opportunities for the working class. Our education system is too focus on “ishoos” of the day rather than the solid grounding of knowledge and learning skills that give young people a chance in life. Too many kids are dumped as failures due to the systemic failures that crush their chances. And the NHS is just a log jam much of it due to bad individual life choices and inadequate service responses at all levels.

So “Far Right”, a term commonly used by people of limited vocabulary and imagination, is a label I cheerfully reject. As a socialist I would have embraced the label “national socialist” but unfortunately others came along nearly a century ago and gave that label a permanently bad name. So I’ll stick to my identity that refuses to be tagged by others.

But, Dafis, this doesn’t happen. Mr Starmer and his friends have told us. And for you to suggest it does means you must be one of those ‘far right’ people we’re warned about.

I’m not sure, but I can sense seismic movements, both in the USA and Europe.

The financial and other corruption of the Deep State and its Democrat puppets becomes more evident by the day, while the EU stands exposed as a failed economy propped up by an increasingly authoritarian administration.

Change must come. The only questions are, how, and who will emerge victorious?

Is this the natural endgame for corporatism?
