Some of Adolf’s less endearing traits seem to be making a bit of a resurgence among our current crop of defective politicians. Not tolerating any alternative views, adherence to absurd dogma …. need I go on ?

Venality and vanity must be present in all politicians, it’s what makes them politicians. The question is, to what degree are these very human failings acceptable? Because if you want a truly honest politician, who will deliver on his promises, then you risk ending up with someone like Hitler.

‘Master’ and ‘slave’ will be phased out as a result of a deliberate mis-reading of history that reduces a practice that is global and as old as human history itself to a phenomenon of recent centuries in order to pretend that slavery was only and ever whites enslaving blacks.
