Yes, you make a good point about women. It’s the same in the USA. I can understand women being more caring, that’s natural and understandable, but unfortunately it too often slips into what is termed ‘suicidal empathy’.

I’m reminded of the wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson being condemned by a couple of former Star Trek actors for not talking about politics as a public figure. How in these people’s minds, not taking an overt stance or making an explicit statement is tantamount to full-on collusion with the ‘enemy’. SImply not thinking about racism in your day-to-day life is equivalent to KKK membership.

As regards politeness being some sort of evil, from the do-gooder’s perspective it is probably too effortless or workaday compared to taking the extra steps such as asking everyone what their pronouns are at first meeting, being seen to be taking the knee on the hour at every hour, etc. Common decency is simply too common and not virtuous enough!

I don’t think many kneel for Floyd in the USA any more. It was of its time, and to serve a purpose.
